||[Updates]||

Yes, I am making another one. With all my deer this time. Again.
Roleplay. Interact. Drop by to say "hi." Introduce yourself or your deer. One-on-on or multiple characters. Detailed or simple. Words or images. Any format. Whatever.
(note that if you do choose to use pictures, I will probably not respond with pictures, because for me it's kind of hard to just whip something up quickly, so it usually takes me too long. Also, I'm too lazy)

[[[Deer Directory]]]
(contains basic info on all my deer, plus bio, picto, and reference links)

---
Don't be shy! Anyone can interact with any of my deer, even if you don't know them!
Never roleplayed before? English isn't your first language? Don't worry about it, just do your best!
It doesn't have to be roleplay format. And it doesn't have to be long paragraphs, either. Just do whatever you feel comfortable with!
The only thing that's important is that I can understand what you're trying to say/do, and who you are interacting with.
If you want me to start, just ask.

[Anything that might get too "mature" can be moved off-site (though it's not likely). Or if anyone would simply prefer to roleplay off-site, let me know. They can be done either on MSN or AIM...or elsewhere if possible.]

It would be really nice if

It would be really nice if someone could interact with The Yale, since it would help me with her character development. Same with Dardaptos, though to a lesser extent since he's a bit more developed.

It would also be nice if I could roleplay with Andras, Maera, or Rhianna, since I kind of miss roleplaying with them like I used to in the past (though not as deer).

Just...um...some suggestions. *cough*

....*sigh* Come on people,

Come on people, don't be shy. Pleeaaassseee?

Some may notice that "The Yale" now has an actual name.
...Yes I am mentioning that just to bump this...
no one seems to want to roleplay ;_;
maybe I have too many deer here? or there's too much here and people aren't bothering to read? Maybe it's the warnings? Which I only put because to be safe because people were worried about that stuff at the time, but maybe I don't really need them.
I'm just wondering because my previous rp/interaction blogs have been more successful. Maybe I should just update the older one and get rid of this one.

I don't know what to do. I can understand if people jut don't know how to begin, or can't choose a character, or something like that, but it'd be nice to at least know if more than one person is interested. Or if a blog like this is just going to be pointless.

I know I'm kind of whining here. Sorry about that, to anyone that actually reads this.

I hope you don't mind if I just make up a random scene off of something that usually finds them together in forest. |D

Don't worry about matching length if you don't want to, either. I tend to get carried away at times. x3;

With one foreleg lifted and her head in the air, Noelle listened for those whose company she liked to keep. It was a relatively quiet evening and in the cool air, she could detect few pulses strong enough to be heard. Ah, but there was a cluster she was accustomed to hearing and often sought out. Kaoori and Amary resting in each other’s company. She smiles softly to herself and shakes her head before trotting down the gentle slope of a bluff and closing the distance between herself and the duo she’d become fond of.

She found them at the ruins where she often did, sitting alongside Hoshiko’s earthen cradle. The stone marker made her smile now. Hoshiko had often offered her quiet company; a.. stone to lean on, so to speak.

Kaoori was fast asleep, tucked up against Amary’s stomach. Noelle bowed respectfully to the purple hued doe once she was near before taking a seat beside her. ”Good eve, Amary. It seems a pleasant one this day- I hope you’ve been well through it.” It wasn’t often that Noelle stole the chance to spur conversation amidst a group, but she had long since wanted to know this friend-of-her-friend-become-a-friend. Yes; Amary was a friend now, she’d decided. She quite liked her. Besides, this evening was perfect for some conversation. The sunset would be lovely to talk by.

((yes that's perfectly fine.

((yes that's perfectly fine. ^^
ah, I like reading long roleplay posts, I'm just not very good at writing them ^^; ))

As peaceful as this evening was, Amary was content to simply rest here with one of her closest friends, watching the sky as it changed colors. With Kaoori sound asleep beside her, the purple doe was starting to feel a bit sleepy herself, but she perked up at the sound of someone approaching. She smiled as the other doe came into view. "Oh, hello Noelle." Careful not to disturb their common friend, she stood slowly to offer a bow in return, then settled back down without leaving her spot. "It is. And I have." She glanced at the sleeping blue doe for a second before turning her gaze to the sky. "I love this time of day. It's like the whole forest changes."
((I wish I could think of something better, but that's all I can come up with right now ^^; ))

(( Perfectly fine! 8'D

(( Perfectly fine! 8'D ))

"I'm glad to hear that," said in response to Amary's assurance that she'd been well. A nod followed just after, a smile on her muzzle as she picked out the colors and the sky and named those she could in her head. Peaches, reds, blues, purples, all unique and blending in a way that only the sky was capable of; an ever changing picture.

"It's one of my favorite times. Many good things happen during these hours, it seems. The witching hour, I've heard it called. Must be a good witch." She closed her eyes and took a deep draught of the air and the many scents it carried with it. Poppies, lavenders, sweet grass and pine and the cool, pure smell of the pond. For as bitter as she could be about this forest, there were times when she absolutely adored it. Her ears fell back into a relaxed position. There were no enemies to watch for now, though her ears flicked at the occasional suspicious noise. "Times like these make a welcome break to the tension. I've seen you stick with Kaoori through everything. I'm glad she has a such a dependable friend."

Amary smiled at the

Amary smiled at the compliment, and then turned the smile to Noelle. "I could say the same for you. It's good to know there is someone else who can be with her even when I can't. I'd do the same for anyone, really, but I can't deny that a lot of my time is spent with Kaoori. She is one of my oldest and closest friends, after all. My best friend, actually. A sister in every sense except for blood. I can still remember the day we met when I was a fawn." She glanced fondly at the sleeping blue doe again, the one she considered a "big sister" even though she was smaller now. "I wouldn't be a very good friend if I didn't stick with her, especially with all that she's been through. I mean, that's what friends are for, isn't it?" She looked back to Noelle, another fond smile on her face. "I know she's close to you, too, and that makes me happy. Any friend of Kaoori is a friend of mine, easy."
Hraeth's picture

A warm smile sweeps across

A warm smile sweeps across her maw, green eyes turning toward Amary fondly as she felt the doe's eyes fall on her. "Hm, much of what you said could have easily come from my own mouth. Still, a friend who actually sticks with their friend is.. Well, I know of siblings who would not be seen doing such things. I know of many fair-weather friends and seeing some one who does not come and go with the wind- it's refreshing to me." A soft bark of sarcastic laughter escapes her maw and she gently shakes her head as she turns her eyes back to the horizon, surveying the new, deeper and darker colors to be found in the sky. "But I am too bitter these days."

An ear flicks as she searches her mind for a more light hearted topic. A brown stag with great red antlers come to mind as she thinks of Amary and a cheeky little smile replaces the fading one of earlier. "Kaoori is not the only one you've grown close to, however, mm?" She turns a sidelong gaze toward her company to watch her reaction. The sassier part of her always did enjoy watching a figurative blush on her 'victims'.

Sorry it took me so long to get a reply out. D8 Life killed my muse for a couple days there. >:

((that's okay, I

((that's okay, I understand))

Amary's smile faded as she listened to the other's words. In her innocence, she had never realized anyone like that existed. Siblings that did not support each other? It seemed sad.

The change of subject was not unwelcome, though Amary blinked at the question. Then she gave a light laugh. "There are a few that are at least as close as Kaoori. They are like a family. Priest, Darkweaver...It's...just too bad they don't all get along with each other." She sighed. "But there's nothing I can do about that."
Hraeth's picture

Noelle's smile grew at

Noelle's smile grew at Amary's answer. It was not particularly what she expected, but then she didn't always get the reaction she thought she would. Such was the joy and bane of interacting with the others that surrounded her. A quiet purr of understanding was her initial response. "Ah yes. Wouldn't it be lovely if everyone could get along?

But what of you and Bastillion? The two of you seem rather fond of each other. It's cute."
She tipped her head toward Amary, her eyes shaped like crescents in innocent mischief while she crossed her hooves in front of her in a nearly canine demeanor.

((Amary is just totally

((Amary is just totally oblivious X3))

"Oh." This time, there was a slight blush on her face simply at the mention of Bastilion. "Well...he is a close friend. Not like Kaoori and the others, but..." She trailed off, not really sure how to finish the sentence. Despite what she'd been told by others, she still couldn't quite pinpoint what it was that made her relatonship with Bastilion different from her relationship with her other friends.
Hraeth's picture

(( She's adorable. x3 )) Ah,

(( She's adorable. x3 ))

Ah, there it was. That blush she was looking for just earlier. It would have made her giggle, but she held the sound back for Amary's sake. The motion couldn't be helped, however, and so Noelle was left laughing silently, her eyes closed and her shoulders shaking gently. She quickly pulled herself into better composure, even though her smile was still humored. "I think I know what you mean..." she said sincerely. "At any rate, you two are quite adorable together."

She looked away, but kept an ear focused toward Amary.

"It will be interesting to see where it leads. Enjoy it."

(RP with Oisin? I'll start

(RP with Oisin? I'll start if you want, since I don't have a lot of time I've posted it with this.)

Night-time.

Candles were lit everywhere, it was quite peaceful. Red and white mushrooms were dotted here and there around the landscape. The sky had darkened to a dark purple-blue, and the occasional blue haze of the mist drifted over the skies. A black silhouette flew past the moon.

Celeste dived from the sky. "Did you see the God today?" She called down as she reached Oisin. She angled her wings, gliding to a stop some feet away. You could tell that she was elated by the bounce to her step. "She had the exact same mask as you, and she was rose-red... She did amazing forest magic. There was a field of poppies and vibrant flowers falling from the sky...and there was also shimmering silver stars...it was amazing."

((ah that's okay)) Oisin was

((ah that's okay))

Oisin was admiring the scenery. He loved this time of day. As he looked up to admire the colors in the sky, he noticed something flying towards him which he soon recognized as Celeste. He smiled at seeing how excited she was. "I wish I had, but I always seem to miss these things. I am sure I will get the chance one day, though. But I have seen the flowers you mention." His smile turned slightly sad, remembering the day clearly. "There were many amazing things that day. Even Polt--" He stopped in the middle of his sentence and sighed. "I am sorry. One of my best memories...you'd think I would be happier to remember it." He smiled again, this time the sadness disappeared. "Enough dwelling on the past. It is good to see you, Celeste." He leaned down to nuzzle her. "How are you?"
gone's picture

"I've never seen a god, until

"I've never seen a god, until now, I've heard a lot about them and the amazing things they can do...You've seen them too? They've changed the weather too, it's...darker. And there's also those giant mushrooms." She reached up to nuzzle him. "I'm fine, only I think I have a slight cold after falling into the Pond yesterday. It was freezing. I keep on sniffing and coughing."

"Yes. It's very pretty like

"Yes. It's very pretty like this." He looked up at the purple-ish sky. "I have never seen a god, though I think my father has seen them more than once. I have to admit I am a bit envious. But then he has been in this forest much longer than I have." He smiled, and then looked back down at her. "You are otherwise alright? I hope it doesn't get any worse."
gone's picture

"I've wanted to see them ever

"I've wanted to see them ever since I first heard tell of them... I guess it was a dream fulfilled today. It is rather nice isn't it," she said, drifting onto once of the little red dotted mushrooms and then jumping right off again. She sneezed at the dust that rose from the ground. "I'm fine, otherwise."

"That is good. Then

"That is good. Then hopefully you will be better soon. As long as you don't fall into the water again." He smiled at her, and then reached down to push some strands of hair out of her face. Then he pulled back, suddenly remembering that he was wearing candles in his antlers. He didn't want to burn her. "Is it normal for your colors to change like this?"
gone's picture

"Oh yes, even in my past life

"Oh yes, even in my past life my fur used to get longer for the winter, although there isn't any color brighter than white. " She hesitated. "I still have one of the flowers from the God today..." She held the flower in her mouth. It was a delicate little thing with blue-purple petals and a white center. "...I thought I'd give it to you." She was blushing, but her eyes were shining.

"Oh?" He smiled, blushing a

"Oh?" He smiled, blushing a little as well, though it was hard to see under his mask. Then he remembered the blue flower Sterre had given him, which he kept tucked safely away from the candles he was waering. "This would be the second time I have received a flower from a pretty young lady." He chuckled lightly. Though the other was Poltergeist's daughter, who is more like a...niece, I suppose, than anything." He bowed as a gesture of thanks, and nuzzled her at the same time. "I thank you, Milady. It is almost as lovely as you are."
gone's picture

"Thank you, " she said,

"Thank you, " she said, blushing a little and nuzzling him too. "Is that Sterre? I always wondered how she could be so cheerful, it seems like nothing in the world ever troubles her. " Celeste sighed, closing her eyes. "I wish I could be like that too..."

He smiled. "Yes. Her mother

He smiled. "Yes. Her mother was much the same. Even with all she'd been through, she managed to remain cheerful and optimistic...most of the time. She did have her darker moods, but they were not frequent. Though in Sterre's case, it probably helps that she hasn't seen many troubles, at least not that I am aware of. She was too young at the time to remember what happened to her mother, and only knows because of what she has been told." There was sadness in his eyes at the memory. "Ah well, you are not the only one to envy that ability."
gone's picture

"Sometimes I wish that I

"Sometimes I wish that I could forget everything... There's so much that goes on in the forest each day," she sighed, ducking down under one of the mushrooms and seating herself under it. She shook her silver hair out of her eyes, shaking her neck, and folded her wings. Her legs shook. "I sometimes wonder how I got these wings..."

((I'm so sorry about leaving

((I'm so sorry about leaving so suddenly, my schedules always very unexpected and erratic and I don't get enough time to say goodbyes ;_;))

((And I crashed my game too ;;_;; I'm such an idiot xD))

((ah it's okay, no

((ah it's okay, no worries...and I do that a lot X3; ))

"I imagine you were born with

"I imagine you were born with them." He smiled, hoping his joke would cheer her some. "I can't say I have ever seen another deer with wings, though I have heard there are one or two others.." He crawled under the mushroom with her and sat beside her. He noticed her shaking legs. "Are you alright?"
gone's picture

She laughed."I suppose that

She laughed."I suppose that if I was they would be very surprised. I've never met another winged deer either, I've met some deer that can change into flying animals though... She shook all her legs out. "They go dead sometimes... My front right got dislocated and broken a few days later after that, so it's very fragile...
gone's picture

"I tend to try and put more

"I tend to try and put more weight on my left than I would my right, in fear that I will break it...again...or dislocate it. It isn't as severe as I thought though, the only reason I dislocated it was because the playground rocks were slippery and I fell off one of the tallest ones there. And as to it breaking, someone's antlers slammed into it full force while me and my companions were fighting..." She looked down at that leg, then shifted it slightly, checking for any scars that were there before, nosing it for any pain.

EDIT: I epically failed? xD
gone's picture

"We were fighting against

"We were fighting against this gray stag that didn't seem to get our warning to back off...he kept on chasing my doe friend Stelmaria, who is very shy and always ran off. He would chase her around, while she would cower and shake her head, and we all got very angry at him for that...he even forced me to run with my broken leg when he started chasing me... She paused, remembering. Images played through her mind, like a video camera rewinding. "That was so long ago." She shook her legs out again.
gone's picture

" He's been chasing me ever

" He's been chasing me ever since. I try to stand up for myself... he just fights back." She listened. "Really, I'm a flighty, shy deer too, I don't cower, but I definitely would hang around behind a tree and watch...but I'm very, very defiant...stubborn would be a better word. My friends have told me I have hidden bravery..." She flicked one ear back, one ear forward, swiveling them around, catching the sounds of the forest in them.
gone's picture

"I...I guess so... She

"I...I guess so... She shifted slightly, bending her legs back beneath her, listening to what he said. " When I'm around large groups, I lurk around a tree and either hide until someone notices me and invites me in, or just go there myself once I think that they're all okay," she said, bending her neck down and yanking up a blade of grass for something to chew on. "I'm definitely shy."
gone's picture

"Oh, I was definitely

"Oh, I was definitely afraid...but I was curious and fascinated too, so I stumbled around and met some other fawns that would later become my friends... I hate skull masks though...some poor deer died for those masks." She winced slightly. "Now I've gotten more used to this world. I know every tree, every boulder here. She flicked one ear forward again. "I feel more comfortable around deer I don't know when my friend tells me that deer are okay, and that they're fun to be with."
gone's picture

"I...I never had a family

"I...I never had a family here." She looked down at the grass, not wanting him to see that her eyes had gotten watery. She fought to hold them back. "I remember...Learning everything from my mother in my past life. How to run and hide from predators, how to get food in the winter. That's what parents are for...to guide you through your life...I wish I had someone to do that...some one to help me when I first came." She paused, then breathed. "The forest is my family now."

((oh, that's weird, how did

((oh, that's weird, how did you manage to do that? X3 ))

He winced slightly at the thought of the pain she must have been through. "You don't seem to have trouble walking on at, at least not that I've noticed. But then, I suppose a front leg might be easier to deal with than a rear leg." He looked back at one of his back legs. "I have had trouble with this leg for as long as I can remember. I suspect it is a result of something that happened in my previous life. Mostly it is just stiff, but sometimes it hurts, especially after a lot of activity. It affects my walking and makes things like running, jumping, and rearing difficult. Yet there are times when it hardly bothers me at all. Sometimes, if I am enjoying myself, I even forget about it. Until after, that is." He smiled a little. "But it is usually worth it. It only means I have to rest a bit more later."

He winced slightly again.

He winced slightly again. "You were fighting? Why?"
((short, but I really have nothing to add to that))
