Incredible how time flies. Heilong's journey to his homeland had awakened something in him. Something beautiful, yet it made him feel as if he was unraveling. Missing something. Grieving a past, present, and future, which he never saw. The rivers and deep forests of his youth were heavenly, having recovered gracefully from the fires that took so many lives. Rich green leaves had greeted him, and a biodiverse landscape like nothing he had seen. He had truly forgotten how may different types of peoples lived in the forest. As a fawn dependent on his parents, he had only really interacted with other deer. But now, before him, were bodies beautiful and diverse which he wanted to intermingle with. To learn from, to laugh with. He had never felt so amazed, but also he had never felt more grief.
"This world I was born into is so magnificent, and I was deprived of it. No parents, no diversity. I'm not ungrateful for the life I've led, but I wonder about how things might have been."

Heilong had been traveling along the river for some time now, retracing the journey he had taken all those years ago. Parts of it were painful to remember, other reawakened memories felt like a breath of fresh air. He had survived, and that was something he was grateful for each day. He felt peaceful as he neared his homelands, wondering what he might possibly learn or discover. He didn't truly know why he was on this journey, he just felt he needed to see the world he grew up in. No matter the reason, he felt the lake tugging at his heart, drawing him in.

The journey is long, Heilong had never realized how far his homelands were before. Then again, he was just a traumatized kid when he had fled the fires. Adrenaline must have made it all seem like a blur, or maybe he was just getting old. He's currently stopped to rest by a river, letting the cool waters clean and refresh him. Water, as he has always felt, it very healing. It's a very kind energy as he understands, and should be treated with respect. Maybe it's residual from his childhood, finding safety in the waters. Nonetheless he feels comforted here.

Setting out on a journey to what feels like a previous life. Not sure what he will find at his roots, or if he'll find anything. Just wants to see the lake he once called home, where he once had parents. It's bittersweet. Not that he'd change anything, no he loves his herd, but he does sometimes wonder what could have been. As he crossed the border from endless forest to his homelands he felt anxiety, but he also felt something akin to peace.

Hanging out in the forest before he sets off on his journey. Was running around the pond when he was approached by an interesting character, Arumi. They seem drawn to the water, and she seems to shift forms depending on whether or not she is in the pond. They also seem to be part dragon, which fascinates Heilong. They danced before settling down in the pond, where the pond brought back memories of his previous home. Heilong settled into deep thoughts, mentally preparing for the road ahead.

Enjoying quality time with the herd before getting curious about his birth home. Setting out on a journey to visit the lake and sky of stars he once called home, but not before Waefreleah and Noirin help him pack for his trip! He is excited and nervous, it's been so long. However, visiting his origin may help him heal and clear his mind so he is determined to go on this adventure.

It's been awhile, but Heilong set foot in the forest today. He has been spending time with the herd, but has been missing his friends, especially his buddy Jonquil. Today he met another deer (User Xrooven), who he danced with briefly before they bowed and ran off. He decided to nap in a flower patch and hoped that he would catch one of his friends later.

Slept in the forest overnight! Woke up to see that Jonquil had joined him! Overjoyed and excitedly dancing. Jonquil gave him a bunch of pretty white flowers too!

The herd is doing well, Heilong's birthday will be soon. Heilong has been exploring lately, and has discovered: a yellow flower field, caterpillars, and lizards. Excited to share with his friends.
Stepped into the forest.
Later met Alchemilla, a kind bird friend. They seemed familiar somehow. Took comfort in.
Heilong misses Jonquil and Lark and Artemis and Cenn. Wonder how they all are.

It's raining! Happy about that. Found Lark! His friend was sleeping, sat down next to him and accidentally fell asleep. Stayed up all night with kid and then explaining to Noirin everything. She was excited as well.
BABY! Found Roshan again, will guard and protect, loves the baby.
Decided baby needs food, brought mushrooms, blue and purple flowers, a butterfly or two, and lots of grass. Roshan did not like the mushrooms or flwoers at all, however grass was okay and he liked the butterflies a lot. Artemis joined later, glad to see her.

Egg is moving a LOT!!! Is the baby hatching today?? Clarion was there, and a few others, but Heilong was focused on the egg, not putting names to faces. Is watching with the group. Excited, nervous, but extremely hopeful. A new soul, another to love. Makes him happy.

Entered forest in search of
Egg, brought soft downy feathers to add. Found it along with Codex and Hunter. Decided he was going to stay with it. Finds himself feeling oddly attached to the egg, wants to protect it. Noticed that it seems to be moving every once in awhile. Fascinated.

Found a bunny (Leverett) who he obtained yellow hoof polish from. Is wearing it, it will only last for the day but he can't stop looking at his hooves. Lowkey loves how yellow they are right now. Later found Artemis, Larkspur, and
Egg (brought soft flowers for egg, extra padding and protection), danced with Artemis and played around. They were joined by Heather and Clarion, had a fun dance party with Clarion and Artemis. Heather cuddled the egg (adorable).
DANCE BATTLE!!! With Clarion, the dance master. Lost, obviously, but had a lot of fun! Afterwards sat down with everyone, very happy with his friends and family.
AND... Oh what's this? Clar is offering him coffee? How awesome! Tried it, he has no idea what caffeine is or how it will effect him. Oops. It's delicious though...
He also got pranked by Clar, glad to see his buddy is cheerful again after being down for awhile.

First half of the morning looked for friends. Didn't find any, so napped in a flower patch. Later found Larkspur and an
Egg (link), decided to join them. Cuddled up to Lark, scared to touch egg in case he hurts it. Never seen an egg before. Decided he likes the egg, will protect it.

Met player horselover765, Túien, player Eaglegirl12 (again!), and "Silver Doe" all briefly. Saw Heather at some point, happy to see her and her brother Peri out and about. Later went back to the Egg and Lark.

Enjoying the rain, the cold feeling of it, how fresh and alive it is. Sitting in a flower patch. Thought of Clarion's fear of water, glad he was at home in his dry nest with the others. Later Lark found and snuggled with him! Thought Lark's cloak was cool. Very happy to be in the rain with his buddy. Listening to his friend's bird songs. Intrigued by. Lark also explained his past as "Moth", which Heilong intently listened to and made many notes of. Knowing this, he feels more protective of his friend. He understands tough experiences, and has seen how a different past can effect someone from Clarion. Glad Lark felt he could trust him with this, cuddled his friend and told him
"I'm always here for you. If you want to, you can come to my home anytime, you're family now."

Approached a new face, Hatoshiro, enjoyed playing around with them until his player had to eat. Then he sat awkwardly. Poor Heilong. Later found another new face, Rifikado Aron. Exchanged many mushroom cirvle spells, enjoyed their quiet and peaceful company.

Played with a large group consisting of Levant, Hatoshiro, Argus, player Clothilde, Rifikado Aron, player Satoori, let's hope I didn't miss anyone. Had fun at the twin statues with the group! Casting spells, running, dancing. He had a blast.
Heather joined too! Reassured her that the group was friendly, let the precious baby hide behind him. Guarded her, was there to reassure her. She warmed up, felt proud of her.

Was feeling awkward, couldn't approach anyone until found by Larkspur. Lark led him to two others to hang out, a small and adorable Navi and a sleeping Calida. Was happy and felt relieved to not be sitting alone, but rather with Lark and presumably new friends. Grateful for Lark always looking out for him, loves and respects friend. Played with little Navi, adores smol baby. Sat down and enjoyed the presence of others. Calida woke up, Heilong danced in greeting as he seems to do. Other joined. Happy.

Met an older pictogram, but they wouldn't show up on the map. They were nakie, so Heilong cast some spells, including the mini spell, but all were rejected. They were rearing up and so Heilong thought they were going to fight him, got scared and ran away.

Slept in various spots, finally settled next to the head of the creek in a sunny spot. Was later joined by Larkspur, whom he woke up to. Was overjoyed and hugged him, overwhelmed with a warm happy feeling. Sat with his buddy in a happy silence, enjoying the other's presence.

Relieved because he saw other deer. Thank the twin gods. Went to a flower patch after seeing no friends, fell asleep to the sound of butterflies flapping their wings. Was astonished by their beauty and slipped into sweet dreams.

Found a sunny spot to sunbathe in, quickly fell asleep in the comforting warmth... Drifted into a sea of dreams, some of which were quite disturbing to him. One in particular, firelight dancing upon the trees and smoke rising from the flowers, was quite rattling. Continued to sleep and fell into more pleasant dreams, but couldn't shake the feeling of dread which continued on.
Met Sunna'may, enjoyed their company after waking up. Felt more calm after interaction.

Slept for MANY hours at the playground in the sun. Had wonderful dreams but the best part was waking up to find his friend Larkspur right there! He was overjoyed and felt very happy. It made his day to wake up to his friend.

Talked to Noirin today, happy and proud. She told him that
“he has grown and healed, faster than she expected” and
“I’m so proud of you”. Filled with warmth and love from her words, cuddled for awhile. Remembered when she first found him and how alone he had been, and how now he has a loving, supportive family. A little pain when he remembered the fire, but it no longer haunts him as it did.
“I have indeed grown, and I just wanted to say thankyou. For everything.” Looked around at his family, at Waefreleah sunbathing and Clarion joking with Peri, Heather calmly watching from her nest. Thought about all his newer friends, and how accepting and loving they are. Proud and happy. Glad.

Woke up happy, went to find a flower patch to sit in. Apparently we are blind as neither of us saw Larkspur or Artemis literally RIGHT THERE until Artemis trotted over and lead him to sit with them. Heilong felt embarrassed that he didn't see them, but was overjoyed to sit with his friends. He has grown very fond of these two, and finds their presence comforting. He has realized that he is becoming more social, and feels proud and relieved that he is growing out of his shell. He feels that his recovery from his traumas may be complete soon, and is quite pleased with this.

Heilong woke up sad. He didn't know why (sorry Heilong). He needed a friend or just someone to sit by, and he couldn't find anyone, until an unfamiliar (Culzean) being approached. Glad for company, he decided to stick with this Culzean. Culzean wouldn't dance, but Heilong didn't mind. He appreciated the company, and ended up feeling better. He then met Sub, Culzean's friend. Feeling relieved and better.

Artemis found him and he ran off to play with her, they found Larkspur! He had a lot of fun dancing and playing with them!

Heilong lost his fan antlers, but decided to make use of it. Covered his antlers in flowers and ran around rubbing them on trees to make the forest smell extra beautiful today! Had a blast and his love for flowers only grew.

Today Heilong ran into Larkspur and Clarion! He had fun dancing, running around, and sitting with them! He has grown fond of the two, and was very excited to see them. He completely forgot his social anxiety, and went right up to them!

Played with Artemis, Larkspur, and Jonquil, in addition to a mysterious (no name, user is polaris though) grey deer. Had an epic dance party, then dance battle, which Jonquil won! Heilong had a lot of fun, and almost no social anxiety. He was very proud, especially when they all made a little cuddle pile after.

Woke up from a nightmare, ran to the pond for a drink to clear his mind. Didn't work, so prayed at the statues and went for a walk. Felt a little better. Saw goro-ma, but was too nervous to try and talk. Went to old oak for its safety and hid for awhile, trying to shake off the negativity.

Slept for 3 hours (real time) at the ruins. Had a strange dream about blue flowers, so when woke up went to flower patches by playground to play in the blue flowers. Had fun, but was nervous about socializing today.

It was raining! And there are giant flowers! He is hanging out with Clarion in the giant oak, resting out of the rain. Heilong truly enjoys Clarion's company, and he is truly grateful to have him as a friend.
Afterwards, Heilong ran into Heather! Played around, and she helped him get his set. Nightfall pelt, whale mask, fan antlers. It was perfect! He was very grateful and noted how patient and kind the fawn was.

Was delighted and exhilarated to find the forest shrouded in darkness. Made the mistake of casting a pelt spell on Clarion, but thought it was funny. He played with Clarion and met a doe, Cydae, who he helped get their mini pelt back.

Today Heilong ran into the forest in search of a friend to talk to. He was excited and proud of himself because he was trying to socialize without Noirin's nagging. However, he couldn't find any awake deer, so instead he went for a swim in the pond. Afterwards, he went back home and talked to Noirin and the herd. Noirin was proud of his efforts, and told him he was doing a good job. Heilong, overall, had a very good day.

Heilong played with Cennétig and Clarion, and Clarion helped him get his pelt. First try was a success.
He now has the starry night pelt.
Clarion heard a strange noise, and Heilong went to investigate with him. He too heard it, and it sent shivers up his spine. Cennétig and Clarion want to explore it more, but Heilong is nervous and unsure.
Cennétig gave Heilong a flower, and Heilong decided to wear it. He has made Cennétig his friend, and feels very good about the future.
Heilong has found that he really loves flowers! He likes the purple ones the best.
