I realized that this character may actually been helping me when I was playing her. I was less scared of spiderlings, now I fear them again. So after a chat with my stepfather, I was convinced to play her again often.

I know I haven't updated this for months, but I've got some news regarding my arachnophobia.
I'm still scared of spiders, no doubt about that. But now, it turns out, that I am less scared of small ones/spiderlings. So I guess there is a bit of progress there.
The other night, a big black one crawled fast from under my bed to my curtains while I was having an insomnia and it freaked me out real bad. I instinctively tried to splash it with a big heavy Assassin's Creed steelbook but I failed because it was on my curtains and it was moving towards the top and I hesitated for too long so I eventually stopped thinking and attempted to kill it but I immediately dropped the steelbook which fell on my head and then open itself, and its content fell on the ground. I could not see the spider afterwards so I cried like a baby girl, took my pillow, and rushed to the living room where I tried to sleep on the sofa but ended up sleeping in my parents' bed.
When the morning came, they took care of the spider, but I have been paranoid since.
So yeah, I'm still scared of spiders but for some reason, the black ones affect me more. Phobias are not easy to get rid of after all, it takes a lot of time. But I'll eventually play Cilanti this week or very soon and see if the advices and tips you gave me on the original arachnophobia post will help me. You guys have been so nice with me when it came about my fear of spiders and I still thank you all for that! ♥
Feel free to toss your characters at Cilanti whenever you see her around. It would make both of us happy. ♥

Sniffed someone (Hirouji) at Kumo's den. Don't now yoo, doo ay?
Heard Silvereyes. Beeg burby, beeg burdy! Called him twice but no answer so trotted to him. He was doing strange things near a stranger (Aethelind). At first, she watched him, not sure what he was doing. Yet she eventually joined in because...that look fun wat yoo are dooing, I want too join! :3 But he stopped when he saw her. Greeted him like she saw others doing and followed him to a big mushroom. Had difficulties doing so, but thanks to the trico's help, she was finally able to climb onto the mushroom. Beeg teyl, yay!

Arachnid cannibalism is awfully traumatizing to me... ;w;
Just saw pictures of spiders eating smaller spiders...
Spiderlings eating their already dead mother is less traumatizing because at least she did not die for nothing, that makes food for the babies.

Semi-AFK, expect no response and disconnection-reconnection.
Awakened without any idea of what happened. Sought mommy but did not get response of her. Neither of her siblings. Ran around, looking everywhere but nope. Wasn't there.
Sniffed many creatures nearby but none of them were her mother. Discovered that the place was looping? Found the tree under which she was asleep. Decided to stay there...wuat iz vis pleyss? ;w;
Spotted a
mother but that was not hers sadly. Watched she and her child from up a tree. Climbed down several times.
First time was to feed herself on butterflies nearby, was a bit hard but it was okay.
Second time was when the ground spider moved away. Was about to approach the baby but the mother came back therefore climbed back up the tree.
Did the same thing over and over. Three or four times she tried to come closer.
Sniffed them when she finally was able to approach them. A giant (Silvereyes) soon came however and scared her away.
Noticed the mommy spider was still near, yet came back to the kid anyway because big winged one doz not seem that scary... .w.
Nonetheless, the mother came closer but Cilanti was relieved that she did not do anything except sitting and watching. Pliz don't hurt me. 3':

Talked about a possible pet tarantula with my parents. They said yes, but only after we will have moved in Brittany region because we don't really have space in this appartment.

If I can get rid of my arachnophobia like this, I am pretty sure you will be able to overcome your fear by doing the same and eventually do some other stuff that goes with it. Like reading about it to understand how it works? Reading stuff about spiders seems to work a bit for me so...
