Just a warning for fawns~

BluedeerLegend18's picture
Peirce does not like fawns right now. This may change as he gets older, but right now he thinks they are absolutely annoying. Today he was being followed by a mini fawn and decided to teach him a lesson. Peirce was attacked by rock hounds and then right after he heals he is attacked by a deer who is apparently protecting the mini fawn. Peirce will have to get used to being hurt.

Please, if your a fawn, it's best to leave Peirce alone. When his health is 50% or lower he will wear the high pitched mask, and he will be the most crankiest at that time. So fawns, when you see Peirce, just walk away quietly, especially when he's wearing the high pitched mask.

Perhaps you should add in

Perhaps you should add in that he will randomly attack fawns even if they show no interest in him nor try to approach him, he will go to them and attack out of the blue.

I would also consider adding in that he is prone to chase them as well, that walking/somehow trying to get away may not always work.

Thankfully it is all in-character to me, but for the next character showing as a fawn, hmm.

If they are so annoying, how

If they are so annoying, how about you walk away or ignore them? Instead of chasing after them and making others become irritated and taunting them when they try to protect the fawn. Just because your stag/you may feel that the fawn needs to be 'taught a lesson' does not mean he/you have the right to.

I wonder how you would feel if you were playing a fawn and some adult deer decided to teach you a lesson, just because you wanted to play or dance with them or even just go near them.

Just a thought.

Also, my character despise everyone who tries to hurt a fawn, and she will not hold back if she notice your deer attacking one. Just a warning. ^^'

Peirce was not feeling

Peirce was not feeling himself today, and probably won't be for a long time. He gets annoyed very easily at times like this and if a fawn won't leave him alone he will get mad. This is just a warning for all fawns.

Not all fawns will be on the

Not all fawns will be on the community site. Most fawns, in fact, are new players. Many new players are not aware of this site and will not see this warning; they'll only see a mean adult deer chasing them away when they tried to say hello. Getting mad at a fawn may chase away a new player completely too, so please be aware of this and considerate of new players.

If you want a fawn to leave you alone, the best thing to do is a bow and a head shake. You might also try simply sitting down afterwards to show that you don't want to play. A good way to show that Pierce isn't himself might be to randomly attack trees, even. Nobody's hurt but Pierce can take his anger out on something. (: Hopefully this will give you a better option.

I'm aware they are new

I'm aware they are new players, that's why I only attack the fawns if they are driving Peirce crazy. Also, it's best if everyone, even adults, stay away from Peirce, especially since he's wearing his high pitched mask right now.

Again, said fawns may be

Again, said fawns may be 'driving him crazy' and not know that they are. New players are new despite what they do; sometimes they can 'bug' deer while just trying to communicate that they want to play. Avoid attacking fawns even if they are 'driving him crazy'; just head shake + no and they'll generally go on their way.

Not all deer will see this and not every deer is in character. Please understand that not everybody who comes up to Pierce or who is in the forest will treat him as a character. (:

That doesn't really explain

That doesn't really explain why Pierce attacked a fawn that had nothing to do with him and continued to chase it when it ran off.
If Pierce needs to be alone, then he should not go looking to pester other deer or attack them without cause. He should keep to himself.

My deer(the fawn you attacked

My deer(the fawn you attacked recently), has never met your deer. Your deer approached the group on their very own then chased mine once they backed away from your deer rearing at them. What you are saying does not match up with what happened.

Others are making good points, they never occurred to me.

If you can say one thing when that is not how it is actually being handled, then I'm feeling really sorry for any potentially new players/those unaware of TEFc, ect... that have come across your deer and have received similar if not the same actions.

That is all.

why not just turn down the players viewable leval then you wont see or hear them. I play on a very low leval as the moos get to much.

Not all fawns are characters,

Not all fawns are characters, some are new players and may be put off/offended if you spontaneously attack them. They might not read this and thus not know who your Pierce is. It'll be a rude experience for them and we should try to be welcoming right?

If I may suggest, if you're going to be hostile to any fawn, please PLEASE make sure you know it's an experienced player FIRST.

I advise you to not ever

I advise you to not ever attack any fawn unless you have permission from the player of the fawn to do so. You could be scaring off new and inexperienced players, thus giving them a negative feeling toward the forest. Do you want that?

Blue: I suggest you pick

Blue: I suggest you pick something new to do with Pierce today.

Change this plot. It is offensive, rude, and everyone on the community that has posted here dislikes it greatly.

The forest is generally a peaceful place and does not tolerate violence well, especially toward fawns.

I do not approve in any way of such a plot and quite frankly, would rather you not do this.

I have seen people play violent deer as part of a "Roleplay" Plot with other predetermined and contacted characters, but this is neither and you could offend many people.

There are no "deal with its", "Ifs, ands or buts", or any objections whatsoever when EVERYONE would rather you not attack fawns... to me especially it is the same thing as hitting children.

And without researching the pictos, you would not know who is experienced or not. It is a lot of work.

Just change your plot idea here. What you are doing here would be considered by most to be very offensive.

I'm NOT some deer just

I'm NOT some deer just attacking random fawns. Peirce usually just sits down and ignores fawns that are swarming him (the other day he got swarmed and he just sat down). The fawn that he attacked was following him the whole day, and Peirce felt like he couldn't escape from this fawn. And that is why he tried to scare off the fawn, and got hurt by another deer instead. Peirce learned his lesson, but he still doesn't like fawns, so just leave alone, maybe sniff him a little, but NOT follow him around all day.

I still dont condone

I still dont condone attacking fawns. A simple "No" headshake and walking away should be enough. Attacking them could also be misconstrued as playing, and will keep them coming.

Oops! I just realized the

Oops! I just realized the fawn Peirce attacked was a WHOLE DIFFERENT FAWN. I'm so sorry! There was a fawn following Peirce around the whole day, and then Peirce saw the fawn, and he didn't take a good look at the picto, and Peirce got annoyed.

Once again I'm so sorry! If I knew you were a different fawn then I wouldn't of attacked you! So sorry!
