We will feature different "themes", or sets, for different occasions. New rules may or may not apply, e.g., real deer behavior.

Herd Meeting Dates:
I will announce when The Herd is active (generally between 1:00 - 6:00 PM EST). Meetings will take place only during the weekends, and there is no end time. Feel free to leave whenever.
Time Zone Converter
If you don't know what zone you're in, Google it and then find your time. When you click "Show Timetable", a list will appear and you'll be able to scroll down and search for the times.
Basic Rules:
- There are no characters in the herd. Therefore:
1) Pictograms are obsolete; you will not be distinguished as the character you play whilst with the herd.
2) There is no favoritism or mates. Remember, when you play, it's all OOC.
- While you are with the herd you must dress accordingly
- Herd appearance will be updated and displayed at the top of the page.
- You are free to leave the herd at any time. All deer who are dressed differently to the herd are assumed to be "in-character".
To leave The Herd permanently, let me know and you will be removed.
Leadership!
Current Leader: None
The Herd is lead by one player, the "Leader".
Role: The Leaders roll is to lead the herd's activities around the forest; wherever the Leader goes, the herd must follow. This will also reduce the confusion and chaos in-game.
Selection: Every member of the herd will get the chance to perform this role via a rotation of members, and the Leader will
choose the next person to take their place after every meeting or so.
Two Pictograms will be supplied and allow players to distinguish between the leader and the rest of the herd. New themes will be equipped prior to herd meetings. Those who do not have the newest version of the game will have to acquire them on their own.
If anyone has a problem, question, or suggestion about the rules, please mention it in a comment below.

3. No one really has a "role" in TEH... I would imagine the fawns cling to the females of his/her choice and be, well, fawns. It's really all up to the player as long as they try to act realistically.
4. Hmm. Maybe. Right now we're going to start with just simple brown pelts that are posted at the top of the page.
5. I don't think the stags will ever wear doe antlers... If everyone did, it would look like a herd of does, you know?
As for the pelts changing, I really have no plan. If I or Dag feels like changing them, then we will.
This can be affected by weather or seasonal change, or it could be some random theme we want.
I like to hear from other people, though, and see what kind of ideas they have. I would imagine it would be pretty cool seeing a herd of zombie deer, don't you think?
And you can ask as many questions as you like, but please keep in mind that Dag and I are still planning everything and getting everything ready. The Herd might not officially start up for a while yet, but it will, and when it does it's going to be AWESOME. (:

Just to be clear, you need to be wearing either of the pelts above, real deer mask and the antlers depending on your deers gender.
Lani, the easiest timezone to compare it to is US Central, it'll be towards the end of the list =)

Ravyn, I've just realized that in the time zone converter, I must have used greenwich mean world time, not greenwich mean london time. I only realized now because I came home for midnight and no-one was around... lol, oh the fail, I'm so embarrassed.
Too late to do anything now, but, we can fix it one of 3 ways.
1: Keep the UK time, change the US time so it's:
Saturday 12pm (Midnight) UK // 6pm US Central
Sunday: 11pm UK // 5pm US Central
2: Keep the US time, change the UK time to:
Saturday 1am UK // 7pm US Central
Sunday: 12pm UK // 6pm US Central
3: Only change the US time for Saturday so that it's not 1am for UK, and change Sunday UK to the proper time which is midnight not 11:
Saturday 12pm (Midnight) UK // 6pm US Central
Sunday: 12pm UK // 6pm US Central
(with this option it will be the same time for both days)
Everyone: If you were using US Central to convert your time, this doesn't effect you, it's only UK time that I screwed up ;_;

I've decided it's too much trouble to try and agree on a brand new time, so I'm making both days the same as they were only an hour out in the first place (hope that's okay Ravyn, I just don't want to much about with this more than needed):
So the official times are below which are now updated on the blog:
Saturday 12 Midnight UK // 6pm US Central
Sunday: 12 Midnight UK // 6pm US Central
The time for today's meet is the same as before, it is just saturday that has changed.
