It's been awhile since I've played..!
Had a lot of help from a deer earlier today sorting out my spell set,
And a lot of fun later with Boart ( does not seem like they post here, but they were very nice and helpful casting spells and hanging out )

I noticed there are a lot of new spells! I'll be figuring out what my favorite set is now..

I love coming back to look through what the community is doing now. There's always been a lot of lovely art. The character blog pages are getting pretty intense too, it's pretty neat. What does everyone use to make those? Research for later.

I never really had an "IC" thing, it is hard to play a character in the forest for me. But it'd be fun to have some sort of identity people know me by.

21. I met a multitude of deer here in the past two years. None of you will probably remember me, I was more of a casual on-off player. Nevertheless, it doesn't change my feelings about this place.

Since day one, being that little fawn I loathed being, to the present, there was always a group of helpful adult deer. I don't know if it's because of 21's easy to remember name and pictograph, or her standard set, that make her recognizable. But I was really surprised to see her again, wearing the same as I remember her, and behaving just as helpful as always. Every time that happens, this runs through my mind. Doesn't he/she ever get tired of doing this? How do they stay on with such patience? Yet, players such as 21 act uniformly and do not get tired of it. Including spell recharges, such as the transformation, or handing out a couple of masks and antlers to a group of fawns who won't be able to enjoy it for long. I get an eerie sense of gratitude from them. I know that I am not as charitable.

This outing was pleasant; although it was late at night in my corner of the world, there was a big enough group to play with. I chuckle as we start another round of dancing, and wonder once again what the count is on the number of times 21 has partook in one of these.

Whatsuup peeps : ) I want to know if anything interesting happened since February. Comon, tell me all your little stories ^^ Has TEF improved any? Were there good ABIO events? Perhaps I'm also trying to reestablish friendships I lost, or ones I never made. ^^ Hello again!

Hello! The Theatre has been in production since late December, but now we need some more actors to complete the staff. If you think you can stick with us, we'd be glad to have you : ) We've just a few more kinks to iron out.

Seed has taken the role of Woodcutter, and Ephra the role of wolf. They also both help keep this idea running! Noortiss has also graciously offered to make all the costumes. My job is to lead audience from one stage area to another.

This play is still open to suggestion and helpful comments ^^

I had an idea that it'd be cool to garrison up a few deer to try a play. : ) However many participants is up to the popularity of this idea, but I think we can make it work ^^

The deer have many emotes, which would be useful to do a silent play. The play would have to be something most people know, like red riding hood, Bambi, or Phantom of the Opera. Any ideas for plays would be great, because some will work better than others as far as the supplies in costumes and emotes we have : ) I think the script would have to be simple and easy to understand and posted on the Theatre page so people could read it and follow along as best as possible! ^^ I figure if enough want to join, there could be a choir too!

Here's an outline of what I had in mind if it works:

Get a group of people together to do the play and assign roles. Give ample time for said deer to get the right spelldata, a costume rehearsal if you will. Some form of instant chat like msn would be a great help to iron out the wrinkles of the play making ^^

I think some basic roles would work like this..

A couple playing characters, about 3 or 4. Costumes will be decided that fit those characters best : ) These participants should be most trustworthy for showing up purposes

Now I'm usually a very self sufficient person but over an hour of trying has grated patience /<

Every once in awhile in the forest there's a dance party on top of a tree, like the willow trees near the pond. I've seen deer get close to the tree and just float right up its trunk to the top. I've seen other deer go into the skating sit mode and also float up to the top. I've heard other people ask 'how do you climb trees?' with only possibly a reply of a copy-paste reference of how to air sit. Seeing people air sit and watching deer float up tree trunks looks totally unrelated, though regardlessly I have tried! Also I've ran google site searches on both this forum and the tale of tales forum. There seems to be no written record of tree-climbing.

How does one acquire this secret knowledge of tree climbing?

Well, I have to say... I'm pretty glad to be back : ) I'm sorry I said what I said, but you all helped me see what I apparently didn't ^^' My mistake was believing that to enter this community would be hard work.. and it's not. You just have to spend time with the people you like : ) It's really... Like a big family! xD I don't know why I didn't see it before ^^ Now you may see me participating in the site more, I'd like to work on projects and help the community. In these short few days I've made friends with poltergeist and a few other deer I hadn't been able to identity ^^

I also had a MUCH awaited reunion with Laruna!! Runa, sorry it looked like I was mad when I got out of the pond xD I was shaking my head because I was laughing too much in real life, then I accidentally hit the F10 key and froze up for awhile xD Next thing I knew you jumped in too and I was like Dxxxxxx she didn't have to do that! <3 Also, I couldn't sign back in because there were 30 people on :x But it was great to meet you again!

Many of you don't remember me, I joined about may-ish of this year. I played for about 3 months, until more than 20 people were signed on and my computer could no longer handle it. Anyways, Tef had potential. Tef is a game where you can become a voiceless regretless animal in a peaceful wilderness : ) I only believe that the makers of Tef made one large error: They created this forum. What's the point of the artist beauty of the game if its filled with lolcat deer? So many wrongs arise out of the social aspect of the game. For example, heirarchies begin to arise among a few popular people and the non popular have nothing. It starts when people group together around a few people and disregard the rest. Then people start naming their deer, giving them personalities, and forcing themselves to keep their pelt combinations. It may not sound too bad to you, but what has changed? What has made Tef different now from the real world? You have your favorite personalities, people to ignore, forced identities, arsepat fanart... I just believe in the original idea of the game: A place where the sun shines your fur, enjoying the strange deer that may sit by you, and being liked for you just existing. No identities or names, just constant, continuous freedom of choice.
