Rire saw Cyric and Ahey'nii, neither of which has been spied for a longlong time! And then, to make things even niftier, Taiko showed up! Rire was a happy fellow, seeing so many familiar pictograms. I dare say he felt a little out of place, though, without anything Halloweenish about him!

Rire needs a new avatar. He hasn't been wearing the 'moth' pelt lately, because he sees everyone and their grandmother with it and he's stubborn like that.

Xemit is a kind deer. Though he sometimes can be a wily little rascal. He loves the bridge! He tends to think its all his :3 He is also very afraid of squirrels. What a nutty creature he is! These pics show him in his favorite pelt <3


Sometimes He just feels like he's stuck on a merry-go-round. That foolish deer!

Larr is my second deer after his older brother 'Mushroom'. Born around the time of the Mardi Gras festival this guy is a fawn who will never grow up. Forest pest and general mischief maker, loves nothin more than to play around and harass the other deers. As you can see his pictogram name is very simular to Mushroom's. Larr is named after an elf from another tale...

Some of these tricks I learnt myself from messing around and experimenting, some I learnt from the Forest Forum or watching other deer. I have added some and I want to put them back up for the benefit of any new deer who havent come across them before. These are the deep secret magics of the Endless Forest but there are more than are printed here that even Mushroom hasnt mastered yet...

-- SKIDDING / SLALOM --

Well I didn't see many deer doing this one so -- press UP and DOWN buttons [keeping pressed] and at the same time click the LEFT MOUSE button anywhere [ but not on the control panel ]. Make sure the display settings are turned up - nature details and screen resolution so that you can raise the dust of the forest floor as you skid around all over the place. Altenate with LEFT and RIGHT movements to create a Slalom effect. YEEHAAA !!! - Trail Blazing !!

-- FLYING [THIS IS GREAT] --

Just incase you missed this elswhere on the forums -- Run and jump from a high place and keep hitting the jump button repetivly. You will fly as long as you keep running and hitting jump fast enough. The big rock on top of the hill is the highest place to jump from. The Twin Gods Statues is also a good spot to launch from. Then head down towards the pond and you will be flying well above the willow trees.

-- DEER CHANT [REPEATITIVE MOOING] --

Moo and then as you do so click another action - stand attentive [ listen ] action is probably the best then moo again before the first moo finnishes. Keep doing this. At the moment the Twin Gods have set it to fade out after 4 moos. They did this I believe because we were creating such a racket, espesialy me !! I was the first deer to pick up on this since I've been in the forest. After that it spread like wild fire. I went away one time and when I came back they were all doing it !! Well it can sound wierd and wonderful.

For the Twin Gods and The Endless Forest team, I just want to say thanks for such a nice thing. I always did love the forest and this place never fails to put a smile on my face. Well its lookin great anyway as is the Commiunity Site so good luck with it for now and the future.

Just a heads up that if you see a fawn with this picto, make sure to say hello and be nice, because that's my big sister! I finally got her to join. I don't think she's named her stag/doe yet, but, we shall see. ^^ If she's on, she'll probably be following Sqish around.

On a more blog-ish note, Sqish has been a bit upset lately because he hasn't heard any word from Echo since the Easter Abio. Granted, it's not a terribly long time, but the guy gets nervous about the littlest things. So if you see him acting depressed outside your group, feel free to come nuzzle him to cheer him up. He's also taken to the idea that everyone in the forest is ignoring him (which is not true, since he's had many good times with Sluggs and Scape since the Abio), so he's just in a general bad mood. He didn't even want to write his own blog entry, the sour-puss.

Mmk! Random decision! I'm gonna make this one of those "Ask me/Sqish questions" kinds of deals. Fire away, comment, whatever you please. It can even be a stupid question like "What color are my socks?" or "Is the internet serious business, or are people just exaggerating?"

I changed my appearance, too. While I was sneezing off spells I found a combo I liked ^^
