This is some fan art for IoRez, because Yorres is such an interesting character and I've been wanting to draw him for a long time. And also because IoRez is an awesome member of this community, and I wanted to thank him for leading the Lightbringers and taking the time to organize and carry out so many cool events.
And also because I'm obsessed with drawing in this style, muahaha.

Very beautiful! The legs seem so perfect, so does the anatomy! The use of your style is awesomey! And the pictogram's 'light'. The mask and the mysterious look! And the little tail, beautiful antlers and poppies, those ears... Gah. *dies*

GingerNut: Thank you so much; I've always liked the look of wood-burned illustrations and such.

IoRez: I'm so glad you like it, and don't mention it at all! I'm having too much fun experimenting with this style, and Yorres seemed like a perfect candidate for it: someone with a mystical and reverent presence, to go with a sort of "illuminated manuscript" or "ancient scroll" look.

Hooran: Thank you ♥ I've been slapping similar versions of this texture on various drawings of mine, and I like the effect. It's a change from blank white backgrounds.

Deerth: Many thanks, and I probably will draw more in this style, until I've abused the heck out of it. xD

This style, so wonderful! The way the deer is layed out, the placement of each stroke of the ink, is all perfect. It does look like a wood-carving, and the background also adds to its soothing, peaceful effect.

Love the look and feel of

Love the look and feel of this. It reminds me of ancient scrolls or manuscript illustrations like from the "Book of Kells". It is awesome.
