The Story So Far... :
The young fawn blinked sleepily as he awoke, looking around quietly as he attempted to stand. However, standing on his back hooves proved to be more than a bit of a challenge to Yakuul. He fell backwards onto his back with a little cry as he did so. Blinking more than a couple times, the young fawn attempted to stand again, but failed. Looking down at his body, Yakuul inhaled sharply as he realized he now had hooves. The little fawn attempted to yell some curses in his native tongue, but only heard small bleats as he tried to do so. Unable to comprehend what was going on, the young fawn attempted to stand, this time using all four hooves. After a couple tries, Yakuul was finally successful and managed to walk for a few steps before falling onto his stomach.
"Yombir!" Yakuul thought. "He's the one to blame for this. My master... You shall soon learn that vengeance and blood thirst truly are 'reasonable.' This treachery shall not pass." As Yakuul stood up once again to try to explore this new world he was thrust into, the young fawn, once human, began to think of how he ended up in this place.
He was once an apprentice, not to a proffession, but to a druid who saved him from a burning caravan as a baby. Chief Yombir was the leader of a small family tribe of druids who lived in the mountains with naught but the supplies of the earth to provide for them. Yakuul was raised among them, learning their ways. Unfortunately, after discovering that he was not blood related to the family at his coming of age ceremony when he was 18, he began to become much more independent. And with independence came strange behaviors. He would often go into the forest alone and not come back to the druids' homes until days, sometimes weeks later. The Chief became suspicious after seeing Yakuul come home with blood upon his tunic. Yombir followed Yakuul on one of his expeditions, and saw him killing smaller animals for no other reason than to kill. This totally went against Yombir's teachings, and thus measures had to be taken to punish him. Yakuul was captured, then had a cursed placed on him, which put Yakuul to sleep.
After reflecting on these memories, Yakuul found a pool of water and rushed to it, realizing that he was very dehydrated. Looking into the water, Yakuul saw his face, but on the body of a young fawn. Falling back onto his rump, Yakuul looked off into the distance, in which he saw a graveyard. He seemed dazed and confused.
