'Here, here! Come and play!' Sona begain to yell while jumping around in circles. She then leaped onto one of the very large rock formations. Xmerious looks up upon the rocks slightly fearful of how big they were compared to him, and stands still as frozen as stone. The fawn sees Xmerious still on the ground and comes running back to him.

'What is wrong? Come and play!' She makes a childish laugh while smiling but it quickly fades as Xmerious's expression is fearful. 'Xmerious?'

He lowers his head along with the rest of his body slightly shaking, 'The rocks are scary...to big..'

Sona tilts her head, 'Scary? But they are so fun to jump upon!' She laughs again and nudges him, giving him some comfort. 'Don't be scared, they are just rocks. This is the playground for playing! Here, I’ll show you.'

Xmerious watches her curiously as she jumps back and forth from one rock to the other, leaping higher and higher than before, all most as if she was soaring through the sky. ‘You’re flying!’ he laughs feeling all of his fear drift away.

‘Flying? Oh! Follow me! You’ll love this even more if you wish to fly!’

‘Huh? Hey! W-wait for me!’ He yells running after Sona who was now a great distance away from him.

The two fauns made their way through the forest and as they ran, Xmerious found himself lost among the trees and undergrowth. Since he got distracted by the strange noises happening all around him, that he still hadn’t gotten used to, the faun had lost track of Sona. Instead of being scared, Xmerious took the opportunity to explore around more. The forest was quite dim with little light shining through the trees from a sky he could not see. Yet the forest was warm and wet with a light steamy mist clouding his view from time to time, but this could be just his eyes still adjusting to the new sight. While wondering around Xmerious took notice on how some of the trees he passes had plate like mushrooms covering the dense, brown, bark. He sniffs it, slightly licks the mushroom but deep down he’s unsure whether or not to actually eat it.

‘Looks good doesn’t it?’ A husky voice said.

Xmerious jumps and yelps, ‘Huh!? Who said that?’ Something touches his back side making him leap high in the air and landing hard on his rum. ‘Ahhh! Ow!’

The voice starts laughing hysterically, ‘Oh, I’m so sorry! Hahaha! I didn’t intend for that to happen, hahaha! But wow was that funny! Ha!’ A fox colored in many reds and browns fell onto his back laughing at the poor faun who was giving him a nasty look.

‘That wasn’t funny..’ Xmerious pouts, getting up. But the fox continued to laugh, rolling around on the ground and clenching his sides.

Glaring at the fox, he stomps his little hoof and roared.

‘Hahaha! Oh stop it hurts hahaha! Quit making me laugh haha!’

‘Mean fox..mean mean fox.’ , knitting his eyebrows together in frustration, Xmerious turns and starts stomping off. Immediately the fox stops laughing and looks up, watching the faun walk away.

‘Hey where’re you going?’

He mumbles, ‘Someplace full of nicer foxes-‘ The fox jumps right in front of Xmerious blocking his path. He sits down, sitting tall with his long fluffy tail wrapped around his gorgeous black legs.

‘I’m sorry for scaring you and laughing at you. I just love to have fun!’ he smiles. ‘My name is Foxxy by the way. That’s with two x’s. Or if you prefer you can call me Foxtrot my given name, with one x.’ Foxxy looks up at Xmerious with odd looking eyes full of pure joy as he continues to sit in front of the faun.

‘I’m Xmerious..’ the faun replies taking one step back as Foxxy jumps up excitedly.

‘You’re the faun Sona met in the flower patch! Hahaha!’

‘Wait how did you know?’

Foxxy smiles before quickly bolting the other way, diapering into the trees.

‘Hey wait!’ Xmerious called out. ‘Where are you going!?’
