'Here, here! Come and play!' Sona begain to yell while jumping around in circles. She then leaped onto one of the very large rock formations. Xmerious looks up upon the rocks slightly fearful of how big they were compared to him, and stands still as frozen as stone. The fawn sees Xmerious still on the ground and comes running back to him.

'What is wrong? Come and play!' She makes a childish laugh while smiling but it quickly fades as Xmerious's expression is fearful. 'Xmerious?'

He lowers his head along with the rest of his body slightly shaking, 'The rocks are scary...to big..'

Sona tilts her head, 'Scary? But they are so fun to jump upon!' She laughs again and nudges him, giving him some comfort. 'Don't be scared, they are just rocks. This is the playground for playing! Here, I’ll show you.'

Xmerious watches her curiously as she jumps back and forth from one rock to the other, leaping higher and higher than before, all most as if she was soaring through the sky. ‘You’re flying!’ he laughs feeling all of his fear drift away.

‘Flying? Oh! Follow me! You’ll love this even more if you wish to fly!’

‘Huh? Hey! W-wait for me!’ He yells running after Sona who was now a great distance away from him.

The two fauns made their way through the forest and as they ran, Xmerious found himself lost among the trees and undergrowth. Since he got distracted by the strange noises happening all around him, that he still hadn’t gotten used to, the faun had lost track of Sona. Instead of being scared, Xmerious took the opportunity to explore around more. The forest was quite dim with little light shining through the trees from a sky he could not see. Yet the forest was warm and wet with a light steamy mist clouding his view from time to time, but this could be just his eyes still adjusting to the new sight. While wondering around Xmerious took notice on how some of the trees he passes had plate like mushrooms covering the dense, brown, bark.

A fawn born from a small patch of beautiful purple flowers opens his eyes for the very first time, seeing a bright, unexplored world among him. He takes in his surrounding, soaking up the light of the burning white sun, feeling the warm spring breeze kissing his colorful pelt, smelling the many new scents all around him. Perking his ears high, the fawn listens to the strange new sounds echoing around in the forest. He yells back in response and eagerly waits for a reply, which quickly comes. Filled with excitement the fawn jumps to his legs stumbling at his very first steps, but soon finds his footing. He yells again receiving the same call this time much closer.

Up over the hill, between two tall oak trees and a few large rocks, was another fawn with a silvery blue pelt and deep sapphire eyes. The fawn leaps down from the rocks after yelling back and makes its way toured him joyfully. He stumbles back as soon as the fawn leaps over him before it repeatedly runs around in circles around him yelling.

'New comer! New comer!' The fawn seems to say as it continues to bounce and leap around the newly born fawn. The fawn suddenly stops and sniffs the soft fluffy fur around his neck, greeting him.

'Hello, hello. I am Sona. Who are you?'

The little fawn tilts his head.

'No name?'

He tries to speak. 'E-e-ex-mear-e-ous'

'Exmerious?'

He nods yes before scratching the ground with his hoofs making an X before looking up and pointing.

'Xmerious.' Sona smiles as she looks up at him.

'Yes, yes' Xmerious says happily and bounces around. 'Yes! Yes! Yes!'

Sona laughs just before SHE leaps ahead quickly shouting, 'Follow! Follow!' and disappearing into the trees with Xmerious trailing behind her.
