Worn face, bright eyes

Under the cut because this image is... pretty colossal, and it's been resized.

My beautiful, beloved Knight. This is my most accurate portrayal of her yet.

Fullsize..

Wowowow. The details on the face/scars are awesome. I find for me scars are difficult to draw without them looking like random stripes/slip of the pen, but you do them so well. Really like how you handled the light, too.

I dig her design so much. Her antlers are so badass, and I love the way her hair is!
Very androgynous, adore the facial structure. <3

Your art is something else..

Your art is something else.. Her facial features are AMAZING, they give out so much character. Ryff has always struck interesting and well developed character to me, and I adore the whole worn-but-strong concept she seems to be associated with. You've done so good with the skin tones and shading - I can't, for the life of me, shade successfully with purple and blue.

Tiger - Thank you! Cloudanis

Tiger - Thank you!
Cloudanis - No, the ones on her face don't hurt her anymore. The same can't always be said for the rest of her body, tho... Thank you.
Bayleen - Thank you very much! Scars are a challenge to do properly, especially because there are so many different kinds. Ryff has many hypertrophic scars due to the nature of her injuries and the time she received them, which means they're mostly raised above the normal level of her skin, but many of them aren't red like typical scars. The large scar on her shoulder damaged the tissues beneath so severely that it couldn't appropriately heal, leading to a very severe classic-type hypertrophic scar. Basically, when I draw them, I just mark out the shapes with 'pen slips' and go in and shape and shade them later. As well, it's important to remember the displacement of fur around scars! That's the part I'm currently struggling with. Hope this helps!
Qanat - Aaaaaah thank you! /blows kiss
Vee - I'm so happy with how her antlers came out. I think I'm finally satisfied with this design! Thank you very much. <3
Ratt - Ahhhh wow holy shit that's so nice of you. It means a lot. Purple is actually my favourite shading tone, since I usually like to do yellow-ish/natural lighting. That, and most of my characters have colour schemes that are really made nicer by purple shadows, hehe. Thank you so much for your feedback. <3
