I'm always wondering why everyone is so sad nowadays.

It's not like.... depression I don't think. Just.... mopy-ness.

And when someone is mopey, it's like you can feel it in the air. Like air you can't breath. Like air that constricts you. You get a feeling of helplessness. Like you can't do anything to stop it. You feel weak and useless. You try everything to cheer that person up---to breathe again---but it seems you're not doing anything to help.

Short and sweet---like an empty SCUBA tank when you're thirty feet under.

Why can't we be happy buddybuddy anymore? Is it because of all the drama in the past? Because all the people leaving?

Just.......... meh. -leaves-

People seem to feel left out

People seem to feel left out nowadays. Like, almost everyone feels left out. Some people leave about it, others write a blog but still... I find it kind of strange everyone feels alone. The good thing is, we can all feel alone together, so we're not alone anymore! Problem solved XD

Usually I'm not sad by the way, I'm very happy and content with the community. Sure, I have bad days, but not constantly. I like it here!

I think its the weather. Dreary and cold and snowy. o: Granted I love winter but it does have that effect on people. It's just now starting to snow, too, so it's just now starting to reek of depression from people along with it. DON'T FROWN if it was because of me I change moods like a radio changes songs cB

It's a lot of things, I

It's a lot of things, I think. For one thing, it's the end of the semester and stress is piling up. Also, when humans get an outlet for human expression, all the emotions, not just the positive ones, come out.

Also, the Forest has become very cliquey (for lack of a better word), which was bound to happen when the game became so popular. If a person isn't in on of the popular in-groups, no matter how nice or generous that person is in game or on the forums/community site, few people notice or remember what that player does unless he or she part of that popular crowd or is associated with a popular player. I hate to say it, but that's human nature. So, as Avani mentioned, many people feel ignored and left out.

As for myself, I try to be as generous as possible, and much of my time is spent helping people with sets and giving random people stuff. It gets exhausting, though, and there are times I just want to simply enjoy the Forest.
