That is what a textureless pelt looks like. This happens when your version of the forest does not have the certain information at hand needed to read a deer's pelt. For example, if you go into an older TEF client before the Mardi Gras sets were introduced, a lot of deer would look like that.
It's strange however, because it would seem you have the latest client (since you can see Carnival sets in the picture).
Everyone sees her like this. It's Ravynn exploiting another glitch, I guess. Instead of removing the antlers, she now removed the pelt. She's not going to share her secret, since we're supposed to fish it out ourselves XD But she will put it under our nose to make us jealous. It's allright, I guess, everyone does what they like huh?

We've seen it happen with the permanent-devout glitch, though, and I find those kinds of things a bit.. How'd you say, childish (Not calling you childish, though 8/ I wouldn't know another word). If people want to have a white pelt, let them, but ofcourse there's some truth in letting them find out for themselves. Not all are able to do that, though! We don't all know the ways with code.

Pssh, I thought it was the spelldata file.. I messed around with it, only resulting in me losing my set. I do think I figured out the different codes for each antler and such.. I might want to try and "type" my own set out some day. (What use, just getting spell-spammed might work quicker XD)

I did recognise patterns, actually. I put two data's next to eachother. One with a lot of antler-spells, one with only a few. And I found out what kind of code breaks the.. Eh.. Let's not get complicated. Y'know what, when I'm off work, I'll try again. I don't actually want to find it out, though, that might make me feel guilty, dunno what for. ARGK complicated. I'll just praise you for your patience.
I think I know a bit about it.
Simply removing an antler file doesn't work because of the reason that the game has a local connection. You have to break a part of it (probably in the network file, I'm not sure). And after you've done that you have to edit the user data.
And you probably/maybe want to use a hex editor. You can find out what that is on your own.
I know, since I did that. More people wanted to, but were afraid to. I just found the issue getting so big that we needed to get rid of it. A community doesn't have to get split because of a glitch! The game's meant to relax, to get into a different world, free from stress. Not to worry about how you look. So ofcourse it was a bit unfair to those who found it out themselves, but it was also unfair towards those who were in the middle of the fight. As you can see, the result is now some people wear it on their set. It's just.. Like, a new pelt being introduced to the game. Now everyone can use it, the hype has seized. If only the "smart" people can use it, the less thoughtfull ones will be.. Well, angry, I think. That's unfair too. Not everyone is that good with computers nd stuff.

Even if someone'd come out and tell everyone, I think half wouldn't understand it/wouldn't have the programs to do it. I think this really is something for those who REALLY want it, and have the guts to mess up the data.
I had to reinstall the forest because it didn't start anymore once XDD So much for failing. But glad we agree. People will always have different views and opinions on stuff, but a discussion is good. I just wish I had made a less rude start. Nyu. XD

Believe it or not, but not everyone is a true friend you know. I could use my sister as an example, this'll be weird XD
There are some kids she occasionally plays with. But they don't like her other friends. So they tell her, we'll play with you! But only of the others go away. So my sister actually sends them away, so she can play with those other two kids. What I mean is, there are also people out there who are simply friendly to anyone out there, and will do such things to their pleasing.
And, also, if you have a friend that really wants to find it out, but doesn't seem to be able to, but you do, and they find you in the forest doing it.. I don't think they'd be happy. I dunno. I'm not judging all friends here! I mean, Ravynn nor Ephra had to tell anyone, did they? They didn't get less friends because of that. Who knows, I might be wrong!
