Though his pelt almost matched the hard clay grounds, the stag was easily seen in the less dense, and breezy birch forest. His hooves leaving small marks in the clay, while his fluffy white fur slightly shook with the small, sporadic gusts of wind. Darcia's eye's lazily glanced over all the rocks, roots and stray grass patches before him as he strutted alone. His gaze making the occasional check for others with every stray noise heard.
He was nearing the playground now, he could tell from the increase of rocks laid about the sight of the boulders and rocks appearing in the distance. But, there was something else. A figure of a deer, perhaps a doe sitting atop one of the larger rocks. He looked around, no other being was there, just her. Of course he didn't seem to guess perhaps she wanted to be alone before he started making his way over to her, stopping a few feet away and tilting his head while he bowed in greeting and politeness to her. He didn't speak, for only if she wanted his company he would do so.
The sound of another being's foot patters resounded within the doe's ears, luring her out of her thought-induced state and directing her attention to the source in which the noise originated from. It happened to be a fellow deer, and a stag at that; his pelt was quite radiant, composed of a variety of brilliant hues that Rhyah found to be of interest. He approached at a leisurely pace and upon his arrival, the buck dropped briefly into a gentlemanly bow.
Happy with the prospect of good company, the fiery-furred hind brought herself easily to her feet, only to lower herself into a curtsy of salutations immediately after. "Hello there," came the phrase of greeting, her voice soft but filled with warmth and welcome. Her luminous, yellow oculars looked curiously upon the male for a fleeting moment before she decided to add to her former words; "My name is Rhyah. May I inquire as to what yours is?"

[Wow, it looks great! I'm definitely going to track. <3 Don't worry about it! We all have busy days. c: I hope I can catch him when he's there!]
He kept himself poised, neck raised high even through his bow. He watched her carefully, eyes scarping over the doe looking for any signs of anger, or hostility. He found none, instead she began to speak, kindly at that as her voice seemed to express. He gave a small nod, his mouth parting slightly as she spoke again, this time with her name. What pleasant company to give a name so quickly.
"And hello to you as well, Rhyah. Ah what a lovely name. My name is Darcia, " his voice just as soft as hers, while still maintaining a very lively and polite tone. He tilted his head, looking her over, this time making sure there were no wounds, gases, missing limbs as those types of deformities did greatly pain him.
He took a step to the side, walking beside her and turning around as to stand next to her, head turned so he could better see her face and their surroundings. He didn't stop, making a full circle around her, ending up back where he started, directly in front of her. Standard greeting, walk around make sure everything was fine, a good way to ruin good company was with blood or predators.
Rhyah couldn't help but admire the regal air about this stag, his body constantly held in a dignified manner; while she managed to keep good posture a priority, the doe never saw herself coming off in such a way as this other life form did. She gave a minuscule nod of acknowledgement at the announcement of his name, her dandelion orbs peering at him curiously.
"Why thank you, Darcia. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance," she replied, either radiant ocular following his figure around as he circled beside, behind, and back in front of her. It felt almost like an assessment, but the hind couldn't blame him; there are those in this forest that do need to be analyzed before the consideration of remaining around them for long can be made. Luckily for this buck, Rhyah was of no harm; a gentle soul she was, with an ability to get along with most despite her rather introvert-like personality. "I couldn't help but enjoy this fine day; you're more than welcome to join me," the female piped, a smile coming to find its way to her tapered snout.
Standing in front of her his frame still struck in a royal pose, yet he let his hind end droop. He felt very comfortable with this doe even if he had known her for only moments. She was rather perfect company, polite, kind and very responsive, not to mention delicate and gentle. He judged others heavily on appearance, something he'd always done which though frowned upon he was usually accurate.
"The pleasure is mine, really," he said once he had made himself comfortable, he spoke mildly, his one canine sticking out of smiling lips. His coral eye's briefly meeting hers, giving a small chuckle, "It is isn't it, a perfect temperature though I prefer a colder one. If you don't mind I will join you, little robin."
He out stretched his fluffy neck, a small breeze running through his thick fur. He was made for colder weather, he enjoyed it more. Born in a very cold climate, it was hard to adjust to the forests warmer climates. He wasn't one to complain as one who complained was sour company to have.

oh wow she's lovely ;y; I love the colors, so bright!
also he always gives others bird nicknames for some reason so that's what the little robin bit was all about.
By the way his musculature relaxed ever so faintly, it seemed as though Darcia decided that the doe was adequate company; Rhyah was quite content with this decision, seeing as the stag was already proving to be enjoyable to be around, and that was a rarity for her as of late. Yes, she enjoyed the fawns that would frolic about in her presence, but the ability to uphold mature conversations was important to this female as well, which was something that she was confident that this new acquaintance could easily provide.
Her smile increased at his declaration of the pleasure being his, the politeness very much appealing to the hind. She then perked up at the mention of the temperature, ears pushing forth as she took interest in this topic. "Colder, you say? I'm personally not suited best for the snow; my fur doesn't grow in very thickly, but I still manage to suffice. The winter months are very beautiful, and certainly something I never saw where I come from, though I cope best when the warmth rolls back around," she responded, inwardly shivering at the thought of the frost that would frequently seep through her pelt over the cold months. "I most certainly do not mind!" Rhyah then added, taking note of the nickname 'little robin'. Though it was foreign to her, she actually rather liked it.
Her eyes caught the action of Darcia outstretching his neck, fascinated by the thick collar of fur that wrapped its way completely around the area. Comparing his pelt type to her own, she couldn't help but feel meager next to him; her hide, though laden in rather smooth hairs, was very short and hugged her body, while his accented his already-regal impression.

[Thank you! Hah, if I was good at drawing human-faced deer, I would definitely have seen her being one. I tried, but it came out horrible. D:
I like that about him! Perhaps it could be a conversation topic at some time in their interactions. c:]
Though he wasn't planning on leaving, the doe had formally accepted his request to join her . He felt she would allow him so anyway, she seemed interested as well. He nodded, she did seem more adapt to it, shorter soft fur and a color that seemed to emphasize and almost radiated warmth. "[=orange]You came from a much warmer forest, or climate before traveling here I assume. As I came from a colder one."
The poised stag allowed his delicate head to tilt ever so slightly. Ebony hair gliding over his porcaline face to watch the other who's eyes seemed to be on him. More precisely his neck. A small smile spread over his lips,
"Are you observing something, robin?, " he asked her, intentionally ruffling the thick fur like hair covering his short neck. Indeed it was one of his best features, though he liked to think it was his face.
" My neck is probably my most notable feature, I think.."
He settled his heck down again, letting out a small sigh as he did. His coral eyes gazed around, glancing at the doe a few times, just enjoying the lovely view of the forest and stones all in perfect order.
