The sun was brightening up the forest, Whisper's family were still asleep in the Oak tree. But Whisper had been awake for 3 hours. She was excited cos it was her first day at school. "First day of school, first day of school! Wake up, wake up!" she yelled, hitting her father Sparrow.
"Yeah, your first day at school-time to get up and go...10 more minutes..." Sparrow yawned.
"No, Dad! C'mon! First day at school!" yelled on Whisper. Sparrow got up on his hooves.
"Alright, alright. I'm up!" he yawned. Whisper galloped around the tree and got out of the tree. The forest was very beautiful, some fawns and other baby animals' parents were taking them to school.

It was Whisper's first day of school. It was the most exciting day of her life! She would meet some other animals instead of deer like foxes, bears, owls and more other creatures. Her big sister Rain had been at school for 3 years. Before they moved to the forest, the old school was...old. "Come on, everyone! It's my first day at school!" yelled Whisper. Now that woke Cheech her mother and Rain up. After breakfast, Cheech took Whisper to school. They met a fox, raccoon and owl. "Hey, are you Cheech the deer goddess?" asked the fox.
"Why, yes", Cheech amswered. The fox grinned at the raccon and owl.
"Really?!" he smiled.

Then Whisper saw a fox cub, a raccoon kit and an owl chick playing together. The fox cub saw Whisper and she called her friends. "Hey, your color's very weird", she boosted. Her father smacked her leg. "OW! What was that for?" she yelled.
"Be nice. It's her first day", the fox explained.
"Hi, I'm Doria, I'm a raccoon", the raccoon kit said to Whisper.
"I'm Pip. I'm a red fox", the fox cub said.
"Hello, I'm Todd. I'm a barn (sneeze) owl", the owl chick sneezed.
"I'm Whisper. I'm going to school", she said.
"So are we", Pip added. "Do you wanna go to school with us?"
"Do I?!" Whisper smiled and followed her new friends.

"Bye, Mum!" Whisper yelled.
"Bye, Whisper!" Cheech yelled back and watched her fawn ran with her friends. When they were nearly at school, Pip saw a steep hill that they have to walk down but she had a BETTER idea.
"I'll race you guys down the hill!" she yelled.
"OK, let's go!" smiled Whisper. They ran down the hill together. Whisper was a very fast runner so she showed how fast she was. She was the first one to run down the hill. She won!
"Wheeeee! That was fun!" Doria grinned.
"Look over there. Baby ducks. Let's go play with 'em", Todd said, flying down so the others know what he was pointing at.
"Hey, let's chase them back to the pond!" Doria suggested.
"Ducks are stupid!" Pip said. There were 4 ducklings for each 4 friends to chase. They chased the ducklings to the pond, the baby ducks were eeping and ran to the pond together.

Just then, a pelican flew over the trees singing. It was the teacher, Mr Peli. "Mr Peli!" Doria, Pip and Todd yelled.
"C'mon, Whisper!" Doria said. Whisper followed her friends.
"Hey, kids!" Mr Peli said, landing down to the grass near his class, he saw Whisper. "Well, hello there, a new explorer. It's Whisper, right? All new explorers must answer a question I ask them. What type of deer are you?"
"I'm um...a...b-black and...white deer?" Whisper asked.
"OK, OK, don't hurt yourself. We're on a field trip today class so follow me and I'll show you the wonders of the forest. Keep close now, kids", the teacher said. He flow low to the ground so the kids could see him. Whisper looked the intresting things she was running past.

When they were at the drop-off, the kids were free to explore. Whisper was with her friends. They saw some caves. "Let's go in the caves", Todd said, getting in a cave.
"Must be a shortcut, come on!" Doria yelled, her voice echoing in the caves.
