This game is ADDICTING, I love it. The realism with the game is so beautiful and wonderful, sure the lions might not be 100% 'realistic' in terms of coloration but everything else. HNNNNNNNNNNNNG Beautiful artwork, beautiful gameplay and just an excellent game. I've been playing for the past few days and I'm never getting tired of it.
Lioden is a brand new revolutionary twist on SIM game experience - be the king of your very own pride of lionesses, breed the best cubs, defend your territory and battle other lions for supremacy.
Lioden is a brand new game filled with wonderful features - officially launched our beta phase!
You basically start off with your Male Lion, you will get the chance to Roll for Colors at the beginning upwards to 5 times after which you will be stuck with the final roll should you use them all. You use your male lion to roam the 4 territories under Explore (Water Hole, Savannah, Marshlands, Dry River Canyon) to battle other animals and to court females to join your pride. Females will be used for breeding new cubs (And passing down genes) and hunting for your pride. The biggest part of Lioden is fighting other players for skill, experience and territory to level up your male and climb to being the king of the lands. At least while your lion lasts. Lions and Lionesses will 'pass on'/die at 15 years old and thus the legacy will continue, if you have a Male Cub in your pride you can choose him to take over for your Lion, you will get the option to re-roll your male or if you have a Custom Skin you will be able to continue with the Custom but reroll back to level 1 on everything else.
At the start you will start with 2 Territory, enough to house 2 Lionesses in your pride. You will have enough Silver Beetles (SB) to buy a 3rd slot for 3 lionesses. Total. Territory can be bought for SB up to 10 and then you must battle for it, you won't lose anything if other lions attack you for anything so no worries if others attack you. From 11-20 Territory you will fight other players and from 21-30 (While not implemented yet) you must buy the remaining territory with Golden Beetles (GB, the Real Life Currency of the game).

Just give me a shout, I have way too much food and I can spare carcasses for others just starting out. I can also use my males (I have 2 accounts, you are allowed 1 main and 1 Side account) to court females to send to your prides if you are having trouble. So feel free to poke me on there.

Also I wanted to mention that I don't know if you can exchange silver beetles for gold ones. It looks like it's only exchanging one gold one for 150 silvers. I mean I could be completely wrong on that but usually games like this they don't let their best currency get gotten that easily so they can get a profit on it.

To explain why female cubs are more sought after than the males is this. Unless your lion is ready to die/pass on your male cubs will leave when they hit 2 years old (IE: 24 Real Life Days in the Game). Your male cubs will serve no purpose to your pride unless you change their gender which costs 1GB at the Oasis. Your male lion will come to passing age when he is 15 years old (IE: 180 Real Life Days in the Game) after which you will be able to either 1) Reroll your Lion, 2) Choose a Male Cub from your Pride or 3) If you have a custom (Such as Abdul or Sultron) you will keep the look.
When your male dies everything will be reset and your lion will start over anew. I am not sure if you lose impression, etc. but I know stats, and such will be reset when your lion dies.
Female Lionesses die when they also hit 15 years old, however if they are customized you will not be able to keep their customization sadly. Thus with Custom Females you may want to breed them as much as you can to get those looks so that you can keep the line rolling with your females to keep their appearances. I know I feel like I wasted 28GB on my two full custom females but I'm hoping to get some beautiful cubs from them before they die in 180 Days

To answer the question about converting Golden Beetles and Silver Beetles. You can only convert 1 Golden Beetle into 150 Silver Beetles at the Oasis, it does not work the other way around sadly. The only other way to buy Golden Beetles is through other players that are selling them, at which I see most players selling them for between 250-300SB.

A Warning in Advance for
15. Any purchase of Gold Beetles must be done through PayPal. Furthermore, any purchases are voluntary and non-refundable. Any member who attempts a PayPal chargeback will be immediately and permanently banned from the site and not permitted to return.
I read this in the Terms of Service on the site and I am less than pleased by such a statement. If you desire a refund from Lioden you will get permanently banned from the site for it. There is already issues with how the site itself is run, I WILL continue playing but I will say now that there are issues with certain moderators on the site doing things they are not supposed to.

Permanently banned? That just seems way to far; after all. What is a 16yr old joins the site, didn't read the rules, took money from their parents PayPal and they had to return it and W00P they are banned because they were trying to undo their mistakes? Or if someone thinks they can spare $5-$10 on the game and realize a day later they need that cash for something impotent like real food or a bill? I know, silly hypothetical situations. But really? That seems a tad to harsh and should be noted in the Oasis page as a warning.
Any ideas why you are permanently banned if you try?

I love the site, don't get me wrong but they really need to find a better way to run it. Though I suspect (And many others do as well) that future contests will possibly have more strict rules.

It seems I found out why if you ask fro a refund on PayPal, your banned. The refund button will automatically refund you the money and the seller (LioDen) can't say no to it. So someone can purchase like . . . $200 worth of GBs and then go to their PayPal and refund themselves but keep the GBs.
