Midnights and black places. The monsters under the beds were nothing more than cutout constructions of places best left alone. The devil was in the details, the way some things had writhed and squirmed, pooled themselves beneath flesh and bone, came out the other side as clean as a whistle.

Cleaner. Insects don't discriminate and they don't care. There's not a lot of excess, not a lot of excuses. Living life is simple when you don't have much to go on. Friend or foe, kill or be killed, fuck or flee.

It's all the same to the worker bee.

Reality comes crashing in and the truth is, one is never lost if you're not going somewhere specific. One place is as good as another. As long as there is food and females, nothing else matters. A hive can be built anywhere, after all. Anywhere at all.

Kyoan

Lean, long, skeletal. This is portrayed by the Day of the Dead Pelt, the Orca Mask, and the Beluga Antlers.
Kyoan's mouth is not one meant for speaking. Instead, he tends to use telepathy to get his point across. Sometimes it is strictly in images; others, he will use words he's learned. Though he has no visible eyes on his head, he can see - and very well, no less, better than most mammals.
Given the fact that Kyoan does not speak - nor is, in all fairness, a deer - he generally does not use in-game 'emotes', as he doesn't grasp the concept of nodding for yes, and shaking the head for no. As a result, most of these gestures to him are meaningless as well - he doesn't grasp what they represent.
For the most part, Kyoan is all work and little play. He moves about rather constantly between Hive and sources of water - the latter being very important. As for where the Hive is - well, that, you'll have to find out for yourself.
