Very nice work here J!!
I like how you included that red glow from the eyes touching the antlers. Great attention to details. And as for those antlers.. Amazing. You picked good colors for them. The reddish color looks nice with the blue/purple.
You have a great eye for the colors. Bg looks so natural.

[e] Also, wanted to say you sculpted those antlers quite well. They don't look flat. Antlers are tricky and painful work.

And how long did it take to make this if I can ask?

Keep up the good work!

Vanilliana: Hi there. I'm

Vanilliana: Hi there. Smiling I'm glad to hear that, especially considering I'm still kinda new to painting and very new to composition. Thank you very much!

W0lfclaw: Hey there. I'm glad you like the antlers. They are actually deep red, character-design-wise, so all I did in this case was just shade a bit to make them blend in.

As for the sculpting... I'm not very satisfied with how they came out yet, tbh, but references can be very helpful... I'd suggest collecting a few pictures of real-life antlers that are as close as possible to the ones you're gonna paint, study how it's lit and transfer that, maybe even use 3D models if you can (I did that one time when I had absolutely no idea what a shadow cast by antlers would look like under certain circumstances).

I don't remember the exact time anymore sadly because this isn't the most recent thing ever but it did take a couple of days. Probably because I'm slow, lazy and like to take long breaks. It's a deadly combination but I hope to be able to defeat it someday.

Thank you very much, I will! I'm glad you like this and I feel like I should let you know that you're actually one of the artists that help keep me inspired. I've admired your painting for a couple of years now.

SingaReindeer: Thank you!
Glad to see you as well! I might not be as active as I used to anymore but I'll probably never leave for good. This place is like no other.

Everyone else: Thank you so much for your kind words, everybody. I didn't really expect to hear anything but you've all turned my gloomy day into a happy one. Thanks, means a lot <3
