Made a quiet return to the forest after spending almost four months back in her home world. Found no familiar faces and chose to settle down near the pond to rest her forever grumbling leg. Reflecting.

Caught eyes with an unfamiliar face (Sky Sight) some way off in the distance, who also appeared to be of a similar build and breed(?) to her. Briefly contemplated asking where they were from, but decided against it. Continued to sneak curious glances at them regardless. Briefly entertained a couple of babbling fawns until they ran off then settled down at the pond's edge for the night.


27th November 2019
Still reeling from the fall out she'd had with Kenna a few days earlier. Unable to stop obsessing over the fact that this is the longest she's ever gone without seeing or hearing from her sister, and is finding herself desperate to check up on her despite her stubbornness to actually follow through with it. To do so would mean having to admit that the whole fight was her fault, a loss of temper on her part, but no, it had to mean something. Her pride has yet let her show Kenna that she can be wrong sometimes, but Dallas is quickly realizing that this facade, in the end, is the thing pushing the younger away.

Finding herself spiralling because she's alone in the forest in feral form; dying for a distraction, reckless or not.


24th November 2019
Easing into the forest a little more; willing to let her guard down for every so often and take short naps. Still remains uncomfortable with how well Kenna seems to be doing and still hesitant to leave her on her own for long, but knows it's an inevitable path that'll have to be traveled eventually.

Spotted a lonesome fawn (Rabbin) sitting further down the pond from her and moved closer to keep them company.

Later on the day, spotted the hyena, Rhea, that she'd heard about through the whole debacle involving Kenna. Had been intending to approach her and see what she was all about, and decided then was as good of a time as any, especially because she was alone. Decided to skip the formalities and plopped herself down right in the other's line of sight. Received a playful wink and an inquiry of what she wanted. Bluntly got to the point and stated that she knows the hyena had a run in with Kenna, but Rhea was less than willing to show her belly and apologize, which was to be expected consdering all that had happened. Kept up the back and forth 'faux friendly' banter in which she found out that Kenna had simply 'gotten in the way'. Not entirely sold on the story considering the extent of her sister's injuries, but decided not to prod and remained civil. Did make sure to warn the hyena that their next meeting wouldn't be so joyful if Kenna ever returned home to the wolf in that state again, and done so at the hands of other.

Left shortly afterwards once Rhea made it known she had other plans to attend to, feeling entirely uneasy about the whole confrontation. Extremely suspicious of the hyena and what's she effortlessly capable of. Will absolutely be keeping a close eye on her.

ANGST WARNING LMAO

Still spiralling in her thoughts when she sensed Kenna nearby... and a whole bunch of others. Then pair that with the sound of shrieking commotion. Nerves already shot and completely on edge, Dallas rushed over to make sure her sister was okay, to which she was. Repeatedly tells Kenna to step back to which she completely ignores, instead inching closer any opportunity she could get. Didn't have the energy in her to fight, so instead watched her as she watched the fighting going on (Greitai, Plague, chitz, Zem, Braithe, Ross, a ton more). Then spotted a lurking Rhea nearby and stared at her from the distance, putting herself between the hyena and her sister. Fortunately Rhea soon left, but not before they were approached by an older woman (Andrea) who essentially told them (kindly!) to bugger off. Was in no mood to be civil, already mentally fried from today, and promptly told her to mind her damn business. And she did, thankfully. Will need to apologise later.

Then things got worse. Of course. Dallas turns for one moment and Kenna goes fleeing off into the Birch scuffling and fighting with some unknown. At this point Dallas absolutely loses the fucking plot -- storms over to the younger and forces her to back off.

"Are you REALLY that FOOLISH?! You stupid girl."

An absolute low blow but the wolf is freaking out and doesn't know where to place her frustrations. Expectedly, Kenna does NOT take this well and a massive argument ensues. Dallas thinks Kenna is wrong for being childish and reckless, whilst Kenna things Dallas is in the wrong for being overbearing and controlling. Eventually Dallas just comes to an emotional deadend and shuts down, giving into Kenna's 'wishes'.

"I guess this means you're ready to fend for yourself now, my dear sister. How fortunate you must be to feel comfortable enough in your surroundings to so effortlessly let your guard down. You want your independence? Your wish is my command; don't let me stand in your way.

Go."

Dallas watches the look on Kenna's face as she essentially abandons her and then realises the extent of her words; she'd just failed her. Completely and utterly. She was the last thing her sister had and she'd ripped that away, too.

Watches as Kenna run off to god knows where, her body collapsing under the weight of her words and actions. For the first time in her life, Dallas truly feels helpless.

i'm really lazy so these are gonna be quick notes lmao
- found kenna with sabb and 'starsets' though the latter seemed skittish of her. slowly introduced herself and sat with the three of them beside kenna.
- romped around with kenna for a bit nearby. then brent appeared and nuzzled 'starsets' who he seemed to be already very friendly with. the sisters introduced themselves.
- then came vesper! romped then the sisters and followed her to greet a nearby umay. then vesp yeeted and plague and zem came over. said hello & played.
- kenna nyoomed off to go see her friend 'starsets' again. followed up with her to make sure she was okay and she was, but 'starsets' and brent seemed tense.
- caught scent of a zem somewhere nearby... hiding in a tree playing spy kids with plague LMAO

- realised the possible tension between 'starsets' and brent vs the ZUP trio... the former pair ran off again further into the birch much to the two sisters confusion and insistence of staying.
- left em for a while and returned to the trio. then umay went and saw 'starsets'. dallas followed out of fear of confrontation. tried to coax the doe to talk to umay, until brent barged back in and lead her away. forcibly? and rubbing all over her?
- concerned. so is plague and kenna is pupset. dallas and plague manage to seperate the two and corner brent to ask what his deal is.
- things escalate then a fight ensues. goes on for a while until brent runs off. dallas left with a sore leggy.
- then zem bickers with sabb?? too much is going on. kENNA STOP GETTING INVOLVED-
- is snubbed by kenna multiple times as dallas tries to get her to back off from the drama, still hightly aware of her injured side. is ignored and backchatted. SISTER RAGE.
- decides enough is enough for one day and finds a spot in the sun to rest and stew in her anger at her sister. warns kenna she better be back by sundown or she's gonna beat her up and down this forest. >:U

rested with kenna for most of the day whilst they both recuperated. asked her sister about the injuries she'd sustained during the debacle with niklaus and rhea, making a mental note to follow up on that later, and made sure the previous night's argument with rag hadn't damaged them even more. other than a badly bruised left side kenna looked stable, but made sure to warn her not to get into any more trouble whilst she healed, and even praised her for how she handled rag yesterday. a rare occurence.

were soon approached by a stranger (oleander) who promptly sat themselves right next to the pair. cautiously introduced herself to the doe, remaining wary of kenna's reaction. everything went smoothly though as her sister said her greetings too, and the three sat together in quiet company.

*stresses over everything*

found a stressed out kenna and a resting plague and zem nearby. went to ask the two why her sister was freaked out, found out it was all a misunderstanding when they tried to invite her to play because they are very big and lil kenna is smol. sighed a breath of relief which didn't last long cause then rag and mag were harrassing kenna. dallas got BIG MAD. threatened her which fell upon deaf ears, and happily invited her sissy to chase the rude lady around. they did. t'was fun. then met vesper (v nice) and xanos (also v nice) who they romped around with before chillin.
