Vesper is a gregarious creature. He prefers the company of others, and preferably in as large a group as he can take it. When on a one on one basis, Vesper prefers to keep the company of someone playful, who is just as wiling to run through the forest on a crazy bent as they are to spellspam or dance. He'll cozy up to anyone, although deer he particularly likes tend to be on the receiving end of his nuzzles. Forest relationships are incomprehensible to him. He takes nuzzles as he gets them, and shares his affections with all deer.

As Vesper ages, his temperament has quieted. He still loves to play, but it more apt to be found simply sitting beside another deer for long lengths of time. He's not as likely to bounce around, but he still loves a good game.
