Lusty- Charleston, in particular the areas around Market Street (or is it Market Place..). It's where the main trading places used to be back in the day. It's where Poogan's(famous 'haunted' restaurant, JIM CARREY AND JODIE FOSTER ATE THERE SO I HAD TO TRY IT OUT. d:) and the old plantation houses, aquarium, churches and museums are. The history preservation people there are insanely strict, that's why it's so beautiful and not a city. No building is allowed to be built taller than the tallest church. Look at me babbling. <3
If you ever come down here you better have your walking shoes on, Charleston is all about walking.

Skuller creeps around a tree, one of which Tally is gently sleeping against. She looked so small, curled up into a tight ball. Hello stranger. He stands and stares at her, grinning. He thought it was about time he paid a visit since he had been hiding away within the Birch for months.
(Do you know about her scar? I'll describe it a bit anyway just in case. )
--- She did indeed look small, helpless even. Nearly still with only a scarce heave of her breaths, the doe looked at peace. Tally was such a brilliant white that one's eye couldn't help but be attracted to the pink hued imprint of the feather across her face. It held a tragic beauty.
Suddenly her ear's twitched at the sound of the other being. She raised her head in an almost alarmed but still sleepy and deliberate way. "Who-.. "
Blinking twice, she simply couldn't believe who she'd set eyes on.
Skuller, still smiling, flopped into the grass with a heavy thud. He got himself comfortable, shuffling his legs around and stretching his neck before responding. Ahh, so then, Tally, how are you? Good? Hmm? He couldn't keep the grin off his face. Not much has changed around here, still the dull boring place it was before. Heh. He had only just come back out of his hiding but easily slipped back into his normal every day routine.
Despite the nature of their last encounter she still held that familiar desire to give or receive affection from Skuller. At the same time she wanted to stand up and leave. Mixed emotions churning through her mind, her face seemed unreadable.
Voice soft from sleep, she spoke almost shyly. "I'm, I'm fine. Where have you been? I don't think it's been entirely dull here.."
He shrugged. I guess I'm okay, eh. I've just been places, y'know. He didn't have much else to say but could only stare deeply into her eyes, he could easily see she was not in a comfortable position being around him. He gently nudged her. Hey, don't worry. I won't hurt you... I've changed, I mean it this time. I won't do anything stupid like I always did, I was a total ass back then hahaha!
He smirked and looked into her eyes again, she was clearly not convinced - and so his smile sunk. I was thinking for a long time while I was away... I guess, maybe I'm wrong, I won't ever change. This is me and that's that. Done, decided, I cannot change myself. Besides, I kinda like who I am. This time, he didn't smile.

Mmm, I'm never satisfied but whatever. I just get a big kick and keep going. He smirks and looks back at Tally. ... I was wrong, before. I'm always wrong, but if you want me to stick around, you're gonna' have to deal with my wrongness because that's who I am.
He gently pushed his neck against her own before getting up to leave. He smiles again before turning to The Pond with a slow walk. He could feel Tally's eyes watching him walk away, so he stopped and turned his head. Ya comin'?
She'd felt something whilst she slept. Something small and soft and frail. Something long limbed and graceful. She heard a quiet sigh as the creature nestled just near her and laid its head near her own. She new who it was by the feminine sound in the creatures breath. "Mmh.. Tally..." An affectionate whisper and a soft nuzzle from the back of her head.
Cus- The doe stood on her tiny hooves, giving him an intent look. She took a moment to weigh the risks before moving to catch up. Her clumsy grace was as unique as it was beautiful while trotting along his side, glancing to his face when he wasn't looking.
She was rather quiet, even her steps were light and nearly inaudible. She spoke blunt but sofly, "So who are you anyway? I feel like.. I don't even know you anymore."

With the doe's acknowledgement she made a very quiet sound of surprise. Her voice was so soft it could be mistaken for forest mullings and she made little movement after settling. "Sorry.. I didn't mean to wake you"
Compared to Noelle she seemed almost fawn-like, absorbing in any comfort and affection given to her with pleasure.

I read what had happened on the road the other day. I'm so relieved you're alright. Driving on busy streets is such a nightmare. Especially with the way some of those people hand;e their cars. :/
Noelle gave a quiet murmur, gentle and affectionate humor was woven in the sound. Carefully, so as not to disturb the petite doe nestled against her too much, she rolled onto her opposite side and wound her body around her companion. With Tally encircled by her limbs, Noelle smoothed a tussled bit of fur just behind the doe's ear.
Read it before I deleted it? I just kind of regretted what I said about the dog so I took it off.. it was so unlike me. You're just not quite yourself after something scary like that happens you know. Thankyou. <3
As she felt Noelle careen herself around her, Tally took in a short breath. For a moment she was unnaturally still, unconditioned as of the recent days to being touched. So many days she'd spent alone and unseen had left her desperate but cautious for affection. A few seconds passed as she released the breath and completely melted into Noelle, the first being she had chosen to trust.
Her mind began to unfurl and reach a certain calmness. "Mm.. how have.. things been for you?"
Arr, caught it just moments before you removed it. Heh, I understand the feeling better than I might like to. Don't worry about it~.
"I've been missing you. It's been so long. But.. I understand." She'd heard what happened and saw its effects. After all, the deeds had been written across Saosin's face.
"Things have been... they have been mostly good. Did you hear of Esll and I?" It seemed almost awkward to bring up her relationship- Tally had been the first she'd brought it up to, but then Tally was no stranger to such things. To her, it was easy to speak of something Noelle was so often hesitant to bring up. But then, Tally always seemed to carry that open air about her it was just that Noelle rarely had things to talk about.

Long velveteen ears swiveled forward at Noelle's question, eyes lighting up in glistening innocence accompanied by an equally bright smile. Her head tilted and lightly shook ''no''. After all she hadn't heard a thing. "Tie the knot did you?"
In retrospect, Noelle's ears flattened and she closed her eyes in embarrassment. If it hadn't been for her fur, a blush would have made itself obvious on her features. A shy giggle wound into her words, "Hm-hm, no~. We've... just gotten the rope so far, I think. I don't know if or when it will ever be tied."
Something sad passed across her face, but it was gone in less than a second and left no trace of itself afterward. Whatever spurred it was flicked out of her mind just as she flicked an ear and swiveled both toward little Tally. "But what of you? Have you any plans?"
The little doe listened in optimistic attentiveness, a film of sympathetic confusion coming over her face with Noelle's answer. Her head tilted and her mouth opened to ask a question but with the other doe's flash of unhappiness she stopped, feeling it inappropriate.
However, the next question did catch her by surprise.
Face lifted and looking away, it initially seemed she would refuse to answer. A few moments passed and her tiny mouth formed her words, soaked to the bone with uncertainty. "Well I.. I need to figure who my friends are before I think of anything else."
Her faith in others had obviously been shaken. "You know, find who's really trustworthy."
Even if Tally decided not to answer, Noelle would not have minded. Her patience was a strong trait, but it was especially generous in this situation. Tally's life had been shoved from its corner stone.
While Tally thought and sifted through her options and chose her words, Noelle waited quietly. Her serpentine eyes scanned over the fragile figure beside her and searched for any sign of injury or sickness. It was difficult to say if she had eaten enough- Tally had always been so sleek just under that soft fur. She'd noticed the scar, but didn't say anything.
The answer finally came and Noelle nodded sagely in reply.
"Mm. I understand very well."
Behind ebony lids, pupil-scarred green pools disappeared from sight and a soft sigh fell from the doe's lips.
"I wish I could give you some kind of advice. Those who are loyal to me are not always to others and more still, whom I once thought were loyal, have proven otherwise."

Despite time spent in reclusion, she looked to be the same thinly veiled flimsy framework of a creature she'd always been. Strangely enough she was exceptionally clean and smelled of aquatic flowers. Even in times of the doe wouldn't give up her affinity for bathing.
Tally felt a certain solace in Noelle's patience, a lifting of pressure, a healing of mind. Loss of trust wasn't something she was a stranger to, but she'd lost faith in not an individual but an entire kind. Living creatures were not to be completely trusted. Loyalty is non-existent.
"You know they say when the conditions are just right.. Anyone will do anything."
Her statement might have seemed unrelated at first, but the unchanged look on her face showed that at least she understood what she was meaning to say.
