Twist eye was a fawn like any other. Neither buckling nor doe-child, it had managed to avoid attracting much attention from casters and was virtually scentless. Still, it seemed to want to make itself known. Twist eye was a creature of small stature and small voice, who hadn't even giving roaring a second thought, but it was a good runner and jumper, and hearing what she thought could be someone else nearby the plain fawn began hopping and bounding about, kicking up leaves and generally making a scene of itself.
The fawn was alone, having left the nice owl-deer that had let Twist eye and some other fawns follow along behind to explore on it's own. Finding the noise she had been following to be only a passing hare, Twist eye stopped wasting it's energy and took the time to lie down on it's belly, a little disappointed but no worse off than it had been.
The white buck walked around
Fog had descended and made it hard to see. That just meant the buck had to be on high alert, more honed into listening and feeling for others.
Not relying on his sight, he had almost walked into something. He leaned his head down to get a closer look at whatever it was. Turned out it was a fawn, and not just any fawn, but the one he had met earlier with the owl-deer and then again when he was walking to the temporary home.
Twist eye shot up onto it's
Twist eye thought that the stranger was very pretty, so bright and brilliant in his lack of color. It didn't seem to notice that there was a skull in place of his face, or was too young and new to the world to understand why that might be worrisome. Backpedaling a bit, It tilted it's head at him, as if expecting him to do something.
The buck watched the fawn as
He raised his head from the fawn's, deciding to look them over as well. The fawn had a pelt that was just on its way of turning gold and a human-face with what could be considered freckles. Their eyes just as golden as their pelt.
Tilting his head slightly, he released a few clicks and coos, wondering about the fawn's sounds. Was it another one that had no ability of human speech?
