i want to sincerely apologise to everyone who was hurt by my words and by the situation that followed.

i’m making this post from the same account where this conflict first began, and i feel that there is something meaningful about using this space to bring it to a close. i hope this can be a step toward leaving the past behind and moving forward on better terms.

looking back, i recognise that some of the things i said were rude and unnecessarily harsh. i should have expressed myself in a more respectful and considerate way, regardless of how frustrated i may have felt at the time. my feelings or intentions do not excuse the way i chose to express them, and i sincerely apologise for being rude and for the hurt my words caused.
i understand that words can have a real impact on others, even when hurting someone is not the intention. i should have been more mindful of how i communicated, and i take responsibility for the things i wrote and the way i expressed myself. i’m sorry to everyone who felt insulted, targeted, or uncomfortable because of my words.
i never wanted to make anyone feel unwelcome or uncomfortable in this community. i understand, however, that my intentions don’t erase the impact of my behaviour, and i don’t want to use them as an excuse. i recognise that i could have handled the situation differently, and i will do my best to be more thoughtful, respectful, and careful with my words going forward.
i know that an apology cannot undo what has already happened, and that rebuilding trust takes time. im not writing this to argue about the past or dismiss anyone’s feelings.
im writing because i want to acknowledge my mistakes, sincerely apologise for my rudeness, and learn from this experience.

im truly sorry to everyone i hurt through my words and behaviour. i hope we can leave this conflict in the past and move forward with a better understanding of one another. i’d like to take this as an opportunity for a fresh start, and i sincerely hope that tef can be a peaceful and welcoming place for everyone.

I can see and hear you and

I can see and hear you and I'm genuinely glad for you for taking this step and for taking the responsibility of your own actions. Thank you.

We all know that if this situation should have been handled inside DM's rather than in the forum, in the public for everyone, we would have avoided this impact.
It is true that people make mistakes, and as long as we learn from them, we can be better people, for ourselves and for everyone around us. It takes a lot of courage to take this big step and own your actions.

Even if it truly wasn't intention to hurt others, it is respectful to apologize for your own actions and words as it seemed to hurt others around in the forums and in-game.

Edit: Adding that of course the impact was big and it affected a lot of people here and it will take time to move on from it and build the trust again. Nonetheless, I'm personally thankful that you apologized.

Some might deem me

Some might deem me excessively, but I truly wish to believe that this apology is sincere, and I would like to thank you for summoning the courage to make it, however hard that may have been.

It is never too late to begin anew, even if the start of the journey was challenging for all of us. I won't pretend it doesn't matter to me that the willingness to take that step hasn't been shared by some others as well.

And it would also be fair to apologize to you for anything that may have offended, angered or made you feel uncomfortable. I fully understand that certain actions, even those undertaken in the name of good and justice, may not appear as such to others. Hurting anyone was never the goal, and I am sorry that it happened regardless.

I want to believe that peace within the community is possible when both sides find the will to compromise and apologize <3

This is unexpected, but

This is unexpected, but nonetheless I'm also glad to see it and it's good to see you acknowledge these things and want to turn over a new leaf. However that said, while I acknowledge the apology, I personally can't accept it right now because of the things you said prior.
