When all is dark, there will be light. Do not fret, little one. I am here. I will protect you from the demons that haunt your dreams. No harm shall be done to you nor anyone else.

It goes by no name, although if needed to be called something, it can be known simply as Wither.

It goes by no nickname.

It has no gender. It could both, or nothing at all

Is it ageless, though it appears to be a small child.

It is a creature of great curiousity. It will be here one moment, gone the next. Such is the light. It is of a tiny size, easily able to shetler in a clump of ferns. It can be missed- it is will curl up in a patch of grass and go unnoticed. The only thing that sets it apart from the others are a pair of small candles on its head. They glow with a soft light, yet a great intensity. They are warm, yet will not burn anything they touch... unless...

But these small beams of light cannot last forever. Eventually, they will...

wither away...

And it will be gone.

Under a small space beneath an overhanging rock on the Playground, is where it makes its home, for now. With luck, you will find it there.

It is hard to find... but if one tries...

Perhaps not, after all.
