I'm having serious problems with TEF.. and it's driving me mad.
I open TEF, and I connect like normal. The pictos spread, but when they do, no one moves at aaalll! And I've walked around a bit and no one is doing anything. I can only see them standing around.
And a less serious glitch... I do the simple permadevout glitch but when I connect my deer falls asleep, wakes up, and I see a copy of my deer going to sleep. Then my deer keeps trotting on the spot. I can't do anything, but when I go to the menu my deer stops trotting and just stands there. When I close it down I can do actions but I can't move.
These issues are really ruining TEF for me. I've been going there a lot lately for peace but it just won't work. Any solutions would be greaty appreciated!
Is this fixed? o:
I don't know about the second
But I have the first problem almost constantly. As far as I can tell, it means you have an unstable internet connection. If your internet goes too slow, you may temporarily half-disconnect.
You will no longer be connected to the network (from what I hear, you appear either frozen in place or invisible to everyone else during this time), but you'll still see other deer and pictos (frozen, because there's no data coming in), and your little connection dot will still be green (it won't turn red).
In my experience, I usually either have to wait it out, reset my internet connection, or get closer to the modem (I have wireless). Depending on how long I've been disconnected, I will either see the game refresh (all deer disappear, then re-appear as if loading the game for the first time, and my deer will fall asleep then wake up) or everything will simply resume as normal without refreshing. Fortunately, either way, I never seem to lose my set.
Good luck! I know it's a pain. :c
I've had/still have the first
My internet provider does some wierd thing about changing people's IP addresses very often...so mine is rather unstable and it happens to me too.
Very annoying to be dancing with people one moment and find yourself surrounded by dead-still deer the next.
Thanks for the help. The
