Community Events

Artist of the Week is a two week long recognition for the chosen artist. During this two week span, their art will be displayed and linked to here- even with content that doesn't involve TEF. It's to be admired and (if the artist is comfortable with it) critiqued. It's also a chance for said artist to advertize what they do and potentially make commission sales or gain a following.

It's a celebration of a given artist, and open to all forms of art, from writing to drawing to physical craft. Anyone new or experienced is encouraged to join- all are welcomed!

You can nominate a friend, or nominate yourself- (don't feel bad)- below by simply stating the artist's name, a link to their account here on TEFc, and any samples of their art.

I have no idea how to get one, but I really need one for Altair -patpat- He'll be on the bridge by the pond if anyone would like to help xD I have no idea what to do, so I will just follow others around.

I'm looking for players to fill in some spots.

There are currently nine spots to fill.

If you are interested, your deer will be temporarily possessed. And other things will happen to your character. It's all temporary but I will email you if you are interested and I will tell you what will happen.

The event will happen in pfft, probably a few months. But I figured I should search for players starting now anyways so we're all ready for this, and since I have so many spots to fill this might take a while.

The event will take, in forest roleplay time, 10 days, but in real life time in might take a while since it will be both in-forest and roleplay.

This is also a community event, anyone can participate in this, but there are nine specific spots that need to be filled in order for this to work.

There are only some requirements if you wanna participate:

-The character you choose has to be full grown.
-The character you choose has to be strong. If your character is weak in strength, there's a slim chance he/she will be possessed, as the possessor is looking for strong deer.
-Things will happen to your character. I know we all love our characters, so you'll need to be able to handle watching your deer go through all these changes. It's all temporary anyways, so don't worry about your deer being forever changed (of course, if you want to you can change him/her, like giving him/her traumas after the experience or something, go right ahead it's your character).

Here are some characters I am looking for. If you have a character who doesn't meet these that is fine because I'm not really picky with these. If you do have a character like this, and you're interested, then tell me and I will look into it.

-Does. Since this plot is based on a Japanese legend, does would make it realistic.
-Stags with big antlers.

I can smell the fear that lies deep inside of you, that gives you the nightmares.

Soon, I will rule this world.

Soon, I will get the power I deserve.

Maybe someone has done this before in the past, but I really wanna do this.

So with Kimi posting a TEF Birthday blog, It gave me the idea to give the player something on their birthday, without them asking!

Right now all I can think of is drawing their main/most active deer or writing a poem about them. I'd like to do something more like plushies or figures but I don't do that stuff.

So, I thought that I could make a "TEF Birthday Presents Program" where members can join and make presents for players when their birthday comes!

Like, if me and several other members can draw/write for a player's character, then other members can make plushies/figures, or whatever, and so the person will get plenty of gifts for their birthday. And yes, members of the program will also get gifts for their birthday!

If you don't want gifts, that's fine! Just leave a comment here saying you do not wish for gifts. ~~sorry for annoying you with our kindness~~
