Akea's first day ( chapter 2 )

Akea jumped around the den, her newly found mother and father watching with love and pride. This was the first time Akea had jumped, and she was now a pro at it. She stummbled and fell with a yelp, blowing a leaf from her nose. She smiled at her adopted parents, got up and sat down by the den entrance. " How come I don't look like you." Akea asked, looking back at her large,Elk parents. The Doe sighed, and said with a suppresed smile. " Your just a bit small for your size, Akea." Akea tilted her head, looking closely at her own pelt and theirs. Her pelt was a dark, dark brown with spots on them. She had a very, very white undertail. She looked at her parents, and they where a lighter brown, with all white tails and they where much bigger then any adult deer she had seen. She got up and walked out of the den, sniffing around. A pond reached out before her. frogs jumping from lillypads, making all kinds of sounds. She looked up, and saw many fawns. They glanced at her, and one boy fawn troted over to her. She gulped as the fawn approched. It was big for it's size, but it was clearly still a deer. " Who are you?" He asked, looking down at her with somewhat-kind eyes. She stood up, her head held high. " Akea." She anwserd. The fawn nodded, and said. " My names Kota, and this is Chris, Paled, and Starflight." He nodded to the other fawns as he said out there names. All of them smiled and said hello..... all of them, execpt starflight. " Charmed." Starflight said, holding her nose up in the air, like Akea was nothing more then a bug. Akea didn't seem to notice, and she jumped around with the others, playing around till the sun went down. She said goodbye to all of her newly made friends, and turned and left. Kota looked back at her as he left too, and smiled. Then he bounded off with his mother. Akea ducked in her head as she enterd the den. Her mother smiled, and said warmly " So?

Up and Go (Roleplay Anyone?)

Hey!

Alright so, I've been here for almost, hm, 3 years? On and off. But it's nice to meet anyone whom is new to Kenzu and his characteristics.

He's been a loner all his life, and if not needs a few friendies to get himself rolling here at TEF. Poor fella is a lonely bugger.

He had one friend but they left him. :c Sadface. But that's okay, there's plenty more people out there who can care for my big guy. He'll care back with all the love in the world. <3

If you'd love to roleplay, please, reply, I am actually more than happy to set it up myself, and be warned, I can get in depth. XD I post like essays. Derp.

I believe a few already desired to roleplay. So just reply if you wish to, and I can add a list of people to a separate blog that can represent my roleplay list.

Waking.

I was born without birth, born without breath, to a new place, a new plane. A golden light emanated from my brow, suffusing my body and being in a warm radiance. I had no memory, no prior thought or experience to draw from; my existence was laid out before me, new and complete, and yet something niggled on the edge of my consciousness, like the wispiest traces of a dream half-recalled, though I did not know then what a dream was, did not understand this sensation of something lingering, undefined.

Rou's Story(Meeting Farron)

Rou had no idea how many days she spent within the Hollow Oak, the place of her birth, the place she witnessed her parents' deaths. All she knew was hunger nawed at her belly and the purple flowers that her father gave her were looking on the sad side. The night before, she had noticed the flowers' sad appearance and guessed that they were mood-flowers, either going limp when she was sad or stretching their petals wide when she was happy. But today, the beautiful flowers' petals were drooping. Rou's tired body shook as she struggled to control her crying fits that seemed to come at random now, even though she did her best not to think about her parents, but nothing was there to fill the void of their deaths.

Mamma...pappa... Rou shivered and lifted her head, peering out from the hollow space that created her den. The sounds of laughter filled the air, followed by the blissful sound of birdsong. Nothing, not even seeing other fawns playing, would draw her from her place. Her thoughts dwelled on her mother and the words that she had spoken. Instead of watching the other fawns play, Rou let her gaze drift to a bright yellow flower that stood in front of her. Though, the sight of something so beautiful didn't drive the memories of her parents away. Soon, the sun's position changed until it was high in the sky. Rou, sleepy and hungry, wasn't paying attention until she heard the sound of hooves over the ground. With her ears pricked and hope bubbling in her chest, Rou leapt to her hooves and hurried out of the entrance, staying right there as her gaze swept around the surroundings. "Pappa?!" She called hopefully. But the familiar white and black pelt that she recognized as her father wasn't there.

Instead, her eyes fell on a strange buck. He had a skull mask covering his true face. Standing tall and proud above his head were antlers that were fleshy and crimson red in color. And his pelt...his pelt was the thing that intimidated the young fawn the most.

Akea's First Day

A pretty fawn opened her eyes, A big green forest surrounded her. She gasped, Her brown coat shaking. A huge Elk stood before her, Staring down at her with little, purple eyes. His brown fur was corse, and a huge, white spot surrounded his eye. His large antlers where-to her- was as big as a tree. A large doe stood next to him, And she had white fur and black spots dotted her. " She's so.....Small." The Elk snorted, leaning down his huge head to smell her. The doe looked worried. " Where are her parents?" She said, looking up and around. The elk shook his head. " That, my dear, is unknown." He sighed, looking down at fawn. " Maybe we can keep her?" The doe said, looking at the Elk. He looked at his mate for a long while. " Yes. We can't leave her out here to starve." He smiled at Akea. " Little one, do you know your name?" The fawn shook her head. " Well then.... we better give you one." He said, glancing at his mate. He leaned close to his mate and wisperd. " She's not an Elk....." The Doe nodded. " I know." She layed down beside the fawn, trying hard to calm her down. " Akea." She said finaly, looking down at the fawn. " My sweet, sweet Akea...."

Rou's Story(How her Parents Died)

The birds were singing high in the trees, telling the other creatures of the forest that spring was finally here. The only other sound upsetting the silence was the sound of a buck scraping a tree, exposing the soft, fleshy bark underneath it's outer shell. The buck's ears pricked up and soon, he bolted through the undergrowth, passing a beautiful pond covered in lily-flowers. The beautiful scent of flowers filled the buck's nostrils, putting an extra leap in his run as he bounded toward the Hollow Oak, the one place that he trusted to leave his mate. It was in between the Pond and the Twin Statues that sat alone on a hill not far from the Drinkplaats.

When he reached the Oak, the white and black buck slowed his pace until he was walking calmly around to the entrance to the Oak. He ducked his large rack inside and there, curled in the middle with a small bundle beside her, was a doe. "Well?" The buck asked, looking down at the little one at his mate's side. The doe smiled and gave the fawn's head a lick. "This is Rou, your daughter." The older doe said softly as the buck entered the Hollow. "Rou. The name fits her." He said, touching his head to his daughter's. Little Rou lifted her head, blinking her beautiful eyes several times until she could clearly see her father. At first, confused, the young doe tilted her head, one of her ears flopping to the side.

Now that her vision had cleared up, she took in the sight of her father standing before her. His antlers were big, standing high above his head. Around the smooth bone were several purple flowers that seemed to make his light violet eyes pop even more than they already did. His pelt was pure white with a black symbol on his back. Small red circles appeared only on his sides and, like the symbol he bore on his back, his legs were black. The buck smiled at his daughter and gently shook the purple flowers from his antlers until they fell around his daughter's head like a crown.

The Brave Little Fawn (Story)

There was a forest far from civilization where deer thrived. A young doe slowed, looking left and then right, before whispering, "Come, little one." Behind her was a fawn who kept close, not saying a word but looking all about with her big eyes. Her mother led her into a clearing, where the two moved quietly through. She slowed and looked back, "Quickly now, we're not safe yet.", she spoke. "Yes mother...", the fawn answered and scurried to her side.

They were near the edge of the clearing when a twig snapped close by. The doe raised her head, ears perked, eyes gazing outward. She didn't spot any movement, staying still as she listened. She bent down and spoke, "Stay here, keep low and don't move.". The fawn nodded and did as she was told. The doe moved slowly, silently, to get a better view. Her eyes were locked on the spot where the sound came from. She only wanted a glance to see what it was, whether a friend or a threat.

The fawn stayed quiet, her heart racing as she sat alone. Her own ears heard something, but coming from another direction. She raised her head, trying to see who it was, but the tall grass blocked her view.

She heard it again. She wanted to call out and ask if it was her mother, but she knew she could put herself in danger if she did. She did, however, slowly get up, peeking through the grass to get a better view.

There was a black mass that rushed by. She heard the sound once more, it was soft and quick, could it have been hooves in the dirt, or...?

A pair of blue eyes spotted her. She gasped and hid, now hearing that sound approach closer and closer. She knew she was in trouble, and slowly began to step through the grass. She made more noise than she planned, and when she heard the sound coming toward her, she couldn't help but run, screaming "Mother! Mother!!"

The sound was after her, she looked back to see the eyes approaching, the body blending with the surroundings.

Here I am!

What a day! I have just logged on, and i feel great! Runnin through a forest is cool..... but running with a friend is cooler Sticking out tongue. I'm still a fawn, and i cant wait till i grow my antlers Smiling. It's hard to wait sometimes! Can't wait to see you in the forest *hint- I'm near the trees near the pond Smiling
