Hello forest! Me and Raventail got a great idea that needs these type of deer(s)! It's a funny comic thing we had in mind ^-^ The examples below is just showing how we thought some deer would react to a stranger. You can submit your own character or someone else's (as long as the character fits the description) I also would like a picture ^-^
1. don't accept strangers (they look you up and down)
2. who greets by biting (hello *bite*)
3. walk over and they chase you away (territorial)
4. deer that runs away (they watch you from a distance)
5. those that ignore you (......)
6. FIGHT ME! (they want a battle before greeting)
7. don't know that the'll eat you (when you play with a deer that eats other deers)
8. CHAAAAARGE! (they attack you even IF you didn't do anything)
9. when you see someone the day before (but the other person with them don't like you just because)
chase you away -
Ex: Stranger: "hel-"
You: "what?" -whole family gets up- >:3
RUN AWAY - (Amika)
Ex: Stranger: "hey, how are you?"
You: "noooo!" -runs away-
just ignore it -
Ex: Stranger: "hi" :3
You: "......" (goooo away!)
FIGHT
Ex: You: "FIGHT ME!!"
Stranger: O.o....?
sizing you up
Ex: Stranger: "hello, how are you?"
You: "good...just a little hungry" (you look like a nice snack)
chaaaarge!
Ex: *the stranger steps on a blade of grass*
You: *charges the stranger*
not welcome
Ex: Stranger: "hello"
The person you saw yesterday: "hey! i remember you"
The other friend: "i don't like you" *breathes down the strangers neck*
A curious sight indeed, a pan piping wolf ensued by a fleet of fawns in captivated hysteria.
He led them to a clearing and sat them 'round.
THE FIRST STORY
Listen.
There exists somewhere, secluded and secure in the darkest and most forgotten mountain forest, a lost cave. It gave dwelling to God's most horrifying and terrible creature. Throughout the earth there was nothing found it did not feast upon. Greatest to smallest, the blood and bones of all beasts from this world piled together, saturating the soil in the recesses of the cave that had seen neither the light of sun nor moon.
On the appointed day, God decided to kill His great creation and shook the earth, collapsing the cave upon it. With this, every life from the planet had been gathered to one place, in the darkest darkness, and the earth there consumed them all.
Ages passed before a wondering woman trampled earth over the grave, exposing a small hole through which a beam of full moon's light first pierced this place of death. From the blood and spirits of all fallen creation there arose a most fearsome and glorious flower, radiating rainbow light and, bursting forth from the ashes, it fired upwards to moon. The woman peered down curiously into the hole which had opened beneath her feet and caught a brief glimpse of this most holy and awesome flower before her soul was completely consumed by the collision of such energies. The spirits of the moon, the woman, and the flower then exploded, together and full of life, into the cosmos. Her body fell dead and vacant over the hole in the earth and, with it's light lost, the flower withered before dawn of the next morn.
The end.
Which then are you, child? The Cave? The Creature? The Food? The Earth? The Flower? The Woman? The Moon? The Light? The Darkness?
I've decided to post a short excerpt from my developing story The Endless Forest: A Tale of Tales. If you'd like to be involved in my story, please click here.
As the winter rooted it’s self into the quite forest, many where keeping safe in there homes, keeping close to there families and friends. Many deer lay sleeping together, sharing the warmth together – but on this afternoon a lone fawn was walking in the cold snow. Mystic didn’t mind the snow to much, he had grown familiar to the freezing cold, plus his hoofs proved to be durable to the snow. Causing him to wonder if one of his parents came from a land where snow was a familiarity all year. Wondering if his coat would grow thicker to protect from the winter, if this as the case.
He had gained a few, new marks since his first meeting with others – it seemed as he learned about other people and the world he gained a new one. One on the top of his ear and on the side of his neck, both following the odd pattern of dots and arches, sooty in color. He had grown a bit as well, having to get stronger to carry branches to put over his home. He even had some hair growing on his head, the color of chestnut; he might have antlers later in his growth. He might have antlers later in his growth. Knowing he still had a long way to go to get to maturity, A year at the least.
Now , as the snow was drifting by, he took a walk to stretch his legs, having not much to do for the winter – occasionally some fawns would come up to the playground where he lived and play in the snow with him and share some warmth but they leaved quickly due to curiosity and families calling them to there sides. And when he was alone he had found that the suns rays kept him warm as well as the memories of his many new friends. Smiling to himself, he was better for having meet them all – then suddenly a familiar smell filled his nostrils one of mint leaves and the smell of grass after rain. Turning as he recognized that smell, he never forgot a friend and not one that had been his first either.

[=10]The raven-like stag gracefully stretched his neck up at the night time sky, after sleeping around the for a long while Caesar decided it was time to stretch his injured hoof. He struggled to get up at first, but then proceeded to get up on his slender legs. He put just enough weight on his injured hoof so it would create agonizing pain for him, Caesar has been practicing this for a while, trying out new techniques so his hoof wouldn't become stiff. After a few minutes of trotting around he thought to himself, I should see to Chain, I wouldn't want her to worry again. I also need her to put a new piece of leaf on my hoof, but it'll take me a while to limp to her resting place. Maybe I should wait later on in the day perhaps.
A while later, Caesar started thinking back to when he met Calfuray, Ashes, and Doves. Oh how I miss them, he thought with a long sigh. Once my hoof is healed I should search around the forest for them, it is starting to get quite lonely. Calfuray and Ashes were quite interesting, but they were both kind as ever. But Doves was one of the most compassionate being, we danced together and jumped around. I would like to see her once more, but with the condition that I'm in, I doubt she would want to, he said with a sad glance to the ground.
Caesar sighed once more, all he wanted to do was to get up and run around. He wanted to see his friends once more, he just wanted to be active. Instead he was worthless with an injured hoof, he decided all he could do was just sit and wait for it to heal. But he had the burning desire to speak or interact with someone, no one was around.
The Endless Forest has been incubating the still and quiet lives of the creatures within for generations. But the wind is stirring, the silence is shattering, and the Endless Forest may no longer be living up to its name...
