This isn't TEF related, but I thought I would risk it and share this anyway.
I was thinking of something that existed on a planet with lots of crystals, so I made its horns and "hooves" to be of a similar substance. Yes, this creature is bioluminescent (bioluminescence was cool before Avatar, thanks). It has fur that is intermixed with hairlike structures that are actually made up of bioluminescent cells, which create the glowing markings you see here. The fluff on the tail is also made up of these hairlike cells. The thing on the neck is not hair, but a flap of skin that is similar to a dewlap. This structure is also made of bioluminescent cells.
I wanted to make an alien ungulate because thoughts of such a creature have been with me for the past week of so. In order to make it more alien, I gave it bioluminescence, four eyes, seven horns (I was too lazy to draw three of them), and six legs.
The name I thought of for him was to call him an uru. It sounds weird enough to be alien but still seemed like a good name for an ungulate species.
This was all done with a mouse because my drawing tablet is *still* being evil.
