One from Many

~The beauty of one thing alone, is nothing when compared to the beauty that is seen in many single things, joined together as one.~

Wow, this is pretty! Must

Wow, this is pretty! Must have lots of patience for this. Do you use a special sort of knife to carve with? How do you come up with ideas, or do they just come to you when you get a piece to work with? *curious*

Thank you everyone, I'm glad

Thank you everyone, I'm glad you all enjoy the piece Smiling

Rakkaus: I don't actually use a knife at all, I use a Dremel to drill out the details. As for ideas, my biggest source of inspiration is the shape of the antler piece I'm working with, sometimes I'll get curves or bends that all but demand to be etched with a certain shape or design. Other times, like with this piece I'll come up with a more thematic design on paper first, then apply it to the antler.
