As Melfice feels such an urge to grow up big and strong, being such a small fawn, he was quite surprised upon meeting this little one. He felt calmer, more like his future self is supposed to be, and his first urge to protect arose. He somehow felt the silent pride that's been hiding in his name for all this time.
