I've been wanting to make you something for a long time, because I feel that you're one of the really under appreciated people here. You seriously deserve more. I found this cutie to be inspiring and decided to get painting. Howeverrrr when I was around 85% done I noticed the post said he had a blueBIRD face, not a blue JAY face and I realized there's a huge chance that this was not at all what you intended him to look like. GO ME. Anyways he was so fun to draw, if I was completely wrong tell me and the next time I get some muse I'll gladly try again.

In which I tried PAINSTAKINGLY to draw a proper body for Rut, was kind of pleased with it, then just SET IT ALIGHT. I dunno why his chin is so big man |8 And Sax is just staring into the distance like 'hi I'm always alert I don't care about your light Rut go away'. And Keith's just lying in an awkward position because that's all he's good for. >C Without his golden chest patch because symbolism idk |8

I GUESS Sax and Keith are still in 'dark' places whereas Rut's just like HEY GUYS IT'S LIGHT HERE C'MAWN and yes. I dunno man I'm on an art spree if you can call this shit art.

I wrote a very long arguement between me and Rut at first, but it sounded like a shitty pop song so I deleted it very quickly. Self-indulgent art, yeee. I guess lately I've been in a dark state of mind, and Rut doesn't know how to help.

This might be part of a series in which I draw myself with ocs, idk. I'm trying to get better - artwise and mentally, aha.

He came to me in a dream about two-three years ago, as a peacock-deer with a bluebird's face and no antlers. I tried very hard to avoid calling him Ace when the name popped into my head, but nonetheless it stuck and I had nothing else. He was going to be a TEF character at first, but I soon formed a human past for him instead and things just...went from there, I supposed. At first he was around five years old, but swiftly became fifteen instead and now I guess he's eighteen.

I've never drawn him before now in his original TEF form but here he is, doodled very quickly. Not too happy with the colours - there needs to be some dark blue somewhere - but hey it's not like it's a ref. I also can't draw a bluebird face but I didn't have a ref anyway |8 Little baby. I love him, even if he's an antisocial bastard (with good reason, at least, he's been through some shit).
