I wrote a very long arguement between me and Rut at first, but it sounded like a shitty pop song so I deleted it very quickly. Self-indulgent art, yeee. I guess lately I've been in a dark state of mind, and Rut doesn't know how to help.

This might be part of a series in which I draw myself with ocs, idk. I'm trying to get better - artwise and mentally, aha.

He came to me in a dream about two-three years ago, as a peacock-deer with a bluebird's face and no antlers. I tried very hard to avoid calling him Ace when the name popped into my head, but nonetheless it stuck and I had nothing else. He was going to be a TEF character at first, but I soon formed a human past for him instead and things just...went from there, I supposed. At first he was around five years old, but swiftly became fifteen instead and now I guess he's eighteen.

I've never drawn him before now in his original TEF form but here he is, doodled very quickly. Not too happy with the colours - there needs to be some dark blue somewhere - but hey it's not like it's a ref. I also can't draw a bluebird face but I didn't have a ref anyway |8 Little baby. I love him, even if he's an antisocial bastard (with good reason, at least, he's been through some shit).

Fylimar met him at the Great Oak yesterday, and relieved to see another Owl Deer he stuck around and they became friends.

It's just lineart for now, I still don't feel up for coloring. The wings were heavily referenced because I suck at feather wings (funnily enough dragon wings I have zero problems with lol). Maybe I'll color it later.

Actually just Cross-Sonata and Rott.
