Vector'd

This is my second attempt at vectoring something. I mainly use PSP for everything, but I've started to work with Photoshop and I used that program for this because the pen tool is much easier to use. I know it's pretty simple and uninteresting, and a little sloppy, but I thought it came out well for one of my first tries. I might even do requests for vector deer later.....;D

The Sun has Returned

It's been awhile since the sun has been out in the Forest. For the past couple of days, it has either rained or snowed. So it is nice to see the bright sun once again especially with how dark everyone's moods have been lately.

Kumiko celebrates alone before bidding the Forest farewell for the day.

(And yeah, I'm starting to play around with a photo editing program- Paint.net. I've messed around a bit with the photo settings and I plan on experimenting with it more in the next few days to see if I can make anything decent with it. Sticking out tongue )

I decided that the deer would be Atiq, I already had his swatches pulled up in photoshop so I was like, sure. The idea behind the piece is that He ran off to some secret place to find peace and safety. Because he is a lost little thing, and tends to get distressed at times. And hopefully, it might lift the mood a bit.

I picked up a few tips for painting the trees and the mist from two tutorials that I have saved on my deviantart account. I'm sorry, but I can't be bothered to dig them out right now DX
