About the Image
This is my doe character, Nevé [neh-vay]. I've been trying to decide on a design for her, and I can't choose between either an extremely simple appearance or something more on the complex side - there's apparently no mid-way look for this gal! I have a feeling, though, that she's going to end up being either albino or melanistic.


Artist's Comments
Those front legs about killed me! I swear I spent close to an hour getting them to this point, and I'm still not completely satisfied. Oh well. The anatomy - to me, at least - has a bit of a wonky feeling, but this is only my second real attempt at drawing a deer. The switch from horses to these lanky-legged creatures has been surprisingly difficult. I believe what has been the hardest for me to grasp, though, are the cloven feet.

Finally finished V's reference sheet, I'm loving how this little gal is becoming more and more fleshed, I'm super glad I added the feathers. If you have any suggestions or want to RP I'm open for that (:
