;_; Mellion fell in the pond today and lost all his spells ('cuz I still don't know how to save your spelldata) but luckily there was this one amazing deer who seemed to immediately realize what had happened and came to his rescue. I was feeling a little stressed out today when I logged in to the forest but as Mellion abruptly lost the set of his I had taken a liking to, I was so shocked. And then when you came and helped Mellion get his set back I got so reliefed I forgot all about my stress. Thank you, you life saver deer you. <3 You bet you got yourself a lifetime friend of Mellion now.

Mellion met other nice deer today, as well. Thank you all who played with him. <3 I'm sorry I had to leave all of a sudden, I was waiting for a friend to log in on MSN. But anyway, without further ado, let's see some piccas!

Soon after Mellion got some spells on him, him and his savior attracted a bunch of other deer to them. (:

I turned my head away for a second, and all of a sudden we were surrounded by a group of deer. It was so cute. <3 They're just lieying there, enjoying of the day.

And a clear shot of (from right to left) a nice deer, the deer who helped Mellion get his set back, and Mellion himself.

(If you were wondering why Mellion's appearance changes in almost every picture, it's because of a. the pond incident and b. I'm still not 100% sure what I want him to look like.)

Yes, this is obviously for Aegle, because I like her deer. Etc. And I felt like trying out some Paint and Photoshop effects, so its not that bad for Paint, but it still is pretty shizzy anyway and belongs in the garbage.

But I like making giftarts- so here you go Aegle!

I'm going through all my deer, drawing references, and updating their look to something more mature.

. I only did a head 'n' shoulders because the rest is just the usual magpie pelt. Also, because I suck at the real-deer antlers, I drew this to decide once and for all how I draw them, which is basically a simplified version. It also shows that

has a magpie feather tied to each one, as well as scattered randomly through her hair.

You might also notice that she has inherited Liëka's hair from when she was younger, and now Liëka is older, her hair is more styled. ...because I wanted their hair to be different, really.

Time: 6 hrs. ( including making my own pattern from scratch )
Materials: Felt , polymer clay , lots of paint, stuffing and wire
Height: about four inches
Length: about 9 inches for tail to head
