Hulloo~
I'm trying to figure out some sort of design for Bloo.. and FAILING! Haha. This deer design looks pretty generic, but uhhh whatever.

I think the generic designs are nice!

I'm also trying to get a feeling of how to draw these weird deer creatures in the first place! It's hard.. and don't even get me started on the bodies! D: And the worst of all is! There are so many wonderful artists in this community, with absolutely gorgeous and elegant style. I suppose this is a game that attracts that kind of people, huh! ^^ I think that's really awesome! ... but it also makes me feel very self-concious about posting any art. My normal style is kind of clumsy and cartoonish rather than beautiful.. ^^U I'm trying extra hard to draw more elegantly now!

Anyway, here is some sketching of Bloo~ I first drew the front view fawn, after an experience in the forest where Bloo met a nice adult (doe?) whom she instantly took to. Only problem was that the deer told Bloo to lie down and be still, and so she did! But Bloo didn't really want to, so she was feeling a bit restless and pouting, like "Hey, aren't we going to play soon?". I was thinking I would try to draw it, cause it struck me as a kind of cute scene, although it didn't last long, since I had to leave. But then I got sidetracked by trying to figure out how to draw the face in the first place. So I tried a profile also, for concept, and then an adult version of a profile, since I was curious of how her looks would translate when she grows up.

Also I tried out drawing her as a human child, although I don't think that this human alter ego actually exists. It just seemed easier to get a feel for the character if I could picture her as a human, somehow, so there she is. I figure she's the kind of kid who always has scraped knees and band-aids from climbing too many trees and running around.

Laruna made me some icons, and I love them. So I decided to mess around and make one of my own, in like 5 seconds, lol.

I'm sure I could so better. But I think it turned out neat with the transparent edges. . .

If someone wants one, I could do requests, just to see what I can come up with, and to keep myself busy for a few hours.

Just post an image and a picto or something, haha.
Or if you want an image cut out for a bio or something, I can do that for you too. I'm mostly just messing around and posting it all here, lol.

So here we are.
Dis here is a piebald deer, which is a colouring I have fallen for as far as deer go. It is random and versatile, which means of course I like it.
My brain is stopped because the autumn winds are started and taking my thoughts away with them.
I'm not kidding.
Also, my arms are tired and it's past my bed time.

New character concept. Working on the name still n_n;
She's supposed to be like a mockingbird - mirroring the world around her, mimicking the songbirds' voices, far more beautiful than her own.
She changes and adapts. She's like everything, except herself.
And in her reflection, all she sees is a monster, alone. She reeks of death and silence.
But the birds, who rest in branches, call her friend.

A quick doodle of my character, Koysta. Did it quick, didn't pay much attention to the shading.

An idea that had been stuck in my head for a while~)

I got inspired to draw also something similar to the pixel-paint-drawings that people have done here, to try something more fun and simplistic. This is done with micron-pens though, but has similar scribbliness.... The result is kinda weird, though... I was thinking a head-lights of a car and a "scary" human-figure, but now it kinda looks like Spyrre has watched one Elmstreet-movie too much. XD
Well, scribbling was fun, anyway.
