Another cruddy sketch drawn at work with a broken eraser-less pencil scrounged from some lost forgotten drawer, hastily drawn on a piece of printer paper. Even more shoddy cell phone photo. And then I have the gall to inflict this upon you nice people here. For shame, for shame.
I was discovered at work drawing this, now it is known that I’m “one of those people who can draw.” My embarrassment is complete.
I am wretched at drawing humans, so please be kind!
Anywho, I’ve never given much thought to a previous life for dear Herla but her deer design was hugely based off an old Egyptian character I used to draw all the time, and this has influenced how I draw her feather mantel. So I will not say she was Cleopatra as that would just be horribly cliché but she most likely was a spoiled Egyptian princess with an army of servants that made sure she was finely dressed, had perfect makeup and expertly coiffed hair at all times, treated as a precious jewel and protected at all times from anything unpleasant or trying. She was surrounded by suitors who vied for her hand, but the princess saw them as merely entertainment and amusement. She had no need to marry, as her father didn’t require it, and allowed her unheard of freedom for a daughter. Allowed her education, she could read and write. Perhaps a little self centered as a result of her free and spoiled life, but also carefree and happy and never intentionally malicious. Murdered young by a jealous suitor.

Colored it in photoshop.
