It's been awhile since the sun has been out in the Forest. For the past couple of days, it has either rained or snowed. So it is nice to see the bright sun once again especially with how dark everyone's moods have been lately.

Kumiko celebrates alone before bidding the Forest farewell for the day.

(And yeah, I'm starting to play around with a photo editing program- Paint.net. I've messed around a bit with the photo settings and I plan on experimenting with it more in the next few days to see if I can make anything decent with it. )

I was out in the rain, searching for my hurt friends, when I saw a fawn wondering the rain soaked Forest. Other fawns trotted behind me. Making loud noises as their ran in circles around any deer they passed, just as fawns normally do. Yet this one fawn was different. He was quiet and did not jump wildly around. As I passed him, I saw sorrow in his eyes. I stopped and watching him walking alone. Something struck me...He reminded me of a younger me. All of the sudden, almost as if by magic, I saw myself.

I did not call out- I figured he wanted silence. I simply walked beside him. Part of me wondering if he wanted me to leave yet part of me wondered if he really wanted me to stay. Needless to say, I continued beside him slowly with Atiq on the other side. Almost as if he understood as well.

The fawn laid beside the walls of the Ruins. I took it upon myself to lay beside him, trying to protect him from the cold. I do not know if my efforts were a success. I don't even know if the fawn- who I later found out they called Bells - wanted me near him. Yet even if he didn't, we stayed there watching over him.
