HIS BIO: HERE

The forest was quiet in the early morning as the young stag awoke. He squinted at the sun sleepily, but got up nonetheless and with a stretch, began to move throughout the trees. A few birds chirped in the distances, but most was calm. Tanarus rubbed his horns quickly against a pine tree as he passed, careful not to mess up the candles on his antlers, before shaking his head and breathing in the crisp morning air. "A little cool out today..." He mused to himself and set off to begin his day.

Striped legs blended with the pale golden grass he walked through, but his emerald back stuck out. In most ways, he resembled a young bull elk like his father, but his kirin mother graced him with a long, tasseled tail. It was dragged through the grass behind him and Tanarus listened to the quiet 'tink' sounds the plants made when they hit his golden tail cuff. Stopping by the edge of the pond, he dipped his head to take a drink and await company.

Kard was surprised at his

Kard was surprised at his luck as he noticed that he was wandering into large grassy field that laid at the base of a large rocky outcrop that he had popped out of. His legs chest and belly were still covered in dirt but his mask was still on as he picked his way through the tall grass. His black stocking legs slowly picked their path as his ears remained high and on alert. He had heard other calls that sounded familiar to him, but he wasn't sure where they were coming from or if they were even friendly.

Moving slowly through the grass that easily concealed him he kept an ear out for sounds of a chase or of predators that could be coming his way. His gray back with black markings on his shoulders and hips stood out easily along the bright green and golden color grass that surrounded him. Walking out of the grass quietly, he soon found himself sniffing the air unsure what he was smelling for a moment or two before he snorted and shoke his head causing his mask to rock across his face before stopping. He didn't know what the smell was but, he wouldn't lie, it was interesting.

Following after the smell he passed up the fresh antler marks on a near by pine tree and wandered further into the woods. The trees here simply had nothing on the ones that he grew up around in the valley. These here rose up tall and climbed high enough in the sky to touch it. He couldn't even find a branch low enough for him to use to climb. Needless to say they were interesting to look out but Kard didn't linger long on looking at them and set off once more to follow the interesting smell.

For once Kard felt small as he looked up at the large trees that surrounded him and barely noticed that he was straying from cover as he followed the scent up to a pond. Under his mask there was a smile on his face as he watched small wild life roam around. He had even stopped to investigate a frog that had crossed his path at one point and noted that this frog was like the frog that make it's home in his own stream. He had even gone as far as testing it to see if it made the same types of sounds like the ones back home. Sure enough it did.

His happiness was feeding his confidence and soon he was walking around a bit faster though he kept and eye out for the cause of the smell only to spot someone or thing in front of him. At that moment his courage and confidence withered away and he made a small yelp as he darted behind a tree to hide. He wasn't sure what this large thing was, it really didn't look like any other type of deer that he could remember when he was younger.

No this one was large and green and they had a large long tail that had something shiny on it. Kard couldn't lie, the golden cuff on the other's tail was too distracting. If that wasn't odd enough there was the whole deal with the glowing things that stood out of the other's antlers. Those things stood out even more than the golden cuff on the other's tail.

With his dark eyes caught on the burning candles, Kard was at war with himself on what to do. Should he stay and hope that the other didn't see him?Or should he run off to the safety of the valley once again? His eyes remained focused on the other as his heart started to race without his knowing.
If you want to role play just ask.
