Wich heaven to luminence allies
Meet in her aspects and her eyes
One ray the more,one shade the less
Where thoughts serenely sweet express

Or softly lightens,love caress her face
How pure,how dear,perfect in place
The smiles that win,the tints that glow
My mind at peace with all below

So soft,so calm, yet eloquent
A heart whose love is innocent
Had half impaired the nameless grace
and never may i kiss your sacred face
