This is the tale of a faraway world.

There lived a girl who had been cursed by a witch to bring death to those she saw.
After being cursed, she lived every day in gloom and loneliness.
She had not met her parents or friends in years.
However, there was but one person to keep her company.
Her own reflection in the water.

The surface of the water makes a looking-glass
Showed a red- eyed mask of a face
A sunken lighthouse faintly wavering
And a somewhat strange voice

No one knows anything about me,
I don't know anything about anyone
The clock's hands decide strike 15
And flip upside down

LA-U-G-H, And I see no one coming over here to join me
I am all alone as you can see

It is in, inside of all my dreams
I'm chasing a rabbit and fall down a hole
Running into a girl
Ecila, Ecila flipped upside down
On the water's surface that face somehow seems...
Filled with sorrow

Blue something floating, bell and a balloon
In the fading oil-paint like colors
A broken frog had been turned to stone
And someone laughed or I think that to be true

this isn't sad
So, hey
This balloon gives me such a great feeling inside
And then I saw it
A figure on the water

I asked the question "Is it really true?"

CRY-I-N-G
The tears reach the lowest of the branches
I CAN HEAR YOU
And from somewhere there's the bright sound of bells
I heard them through the sound of crashing tears

Oh, how busy he was, but I heard his laughter
The one running, constantly looking to his watch was
The rabbit
Ecila, Ecila, who is the one that is crying?
On the water's surface seeing that face
A weak Whisper rose

"Why do you cry?"
"Because you're there."
"I shouldn't be here?"

"I'll go with you."
"I hate you!"

"Please, we two should stay separated."

You said such thoughtless words
They made me laugh
Causing your face to sneer
Though I didn't know a thing or had at least forgotten it all
Into the dark water's surface, I set foot
The face spoke with a voice of delight

"HELLO! HELLO! I've been waiting!"
The wave shouted and laughed in joy
I was grabbed then by the rabbit's hand
The face and I were then apart
In the warmth, I tried to search for the light
But I... I could see nothing at all...

"Hey... is this the base of a lighthouse?"
"Huh?"
"It's very dark... but somehow comforting."
"...Really? Your eyes..."

It was a very beautiful thing to see
From the terrible trial, the one waking up was the girl
Ecila, oh, Ecila, she is no more
Sunk with the lighthouse to the bottom of the sea seen in dreams

Distorted colours and all of the shapes
For what I had lost, I took this hand in all its warmth
Oh, Ecila of water
It's flipped upside-down

and walked along a puzzling road.
