A running stream.
A running stream of Idol's tears.
A young fawn jumped and splashed in the water. She tried to run along side it, but just couldn't seem to keep up with the water pulling at her legs.
"The water's fast!" she said out loud; stating the obvious. "I bet there's someone trying to take away the Idol's tears quickly so he won't cry anymore!" the fawn declared proudly, and watched the running water with admiration. She splashed down the river; water gently lapping at her back as she swam into deeper parts of the stream.
"If they're going to stop the Idol from crying all by themselves, they're going to need help!" she said to herself, and spat out the water that had washed into her mouth. Determined to find and aid the mysterious tear stealer, she continued her swim down the river. What waited her at the mouth of the river was not a mystical being of the imagination, but a rather peaceful pond.
"Oh, cool! Super cool!" the fawn cheered, and stepped into the deeper water of the pond. She kicked to keep her head above water, and grinned at the water around her like it was the greatest discovery of her life. "Are you the Idol's friend, Mr. Pond?" she asked it, and when she received no answer, simply decided the pond had said yes.
"Wow! You're a really good friend, Mr. Pond!" she told the calm water. Smiling widely to herself, she kicked her little legs and started to swim out further into the pond; curious of her discovery.

Flick of an Ear.
Twitch of a tail.
The beating of hearts upon tines.
The stag sighed deeply, following after his adopted daughter, strong legs moving him through the stream until the pond was reached, where he quietly made his way to the edge, lowering himself down to lay, glad for the chance to rest.
"at last" he rumbled to himself, shaking his head slowly for a moment before resting upon his lean front limbs.
(At least you can keep a
The fawn turned her head; spotting her Papa by the edge of the pond.
"Papa! Papa! Isn't this pond so cool! He's trying to dry the Idol's tears for him, Papa! He's the nicest pond ever!" the fawn announced with excitement, and splashed deeper into the water.
Suddenly, she felt herself being pulled down, her vision become momentarily unfocused, and she felt a sudden state of vertigo. Shaking her head and blinking her eyes, her mind became clear again, but the world seemed slightly off. She peered around for her Papa, everything bigger than she remembered, and started to swim towards him. Noticing change, the fawn found that not only did her limbs feel unfamiliar, but she could swim much quicker than before. Hurrying towards where her Papa lay, the world seemed to distort again as she got close. Her hooves, once again hooves, brushed against the pebbles of the pond, and she hurried towards her Papa with water dripping from her coat.
"Papa! I turned into a frog, Papa!" she told him; climbing onto up onto his warm, blood-streaked body.
"ponds don't have
"That is usually what happens when one falls into this pond" he lifted his head to look back at her for a moment before laying his head down once again.
((shut up, I topped you that one time, in the main room, when you weren't expecting it it's not my fault you're bigger than I am))
"Wow! Really? You know so

Vilnius paused, turning this thought over in his mind.
"Yes, I suppose the pond has many friends...but so does the idol" he looked up at the fawn.
"maybe it weeps in joy" he rumbled, arching a brow as the fawn on his back was showered with blood from the pumping hearts upon his tines, wondering if the child even noticed, much less cared.
((What about chocolate
"Oh, you're right! You're so smart, Papa!" she complimented him. The young fawn got up and splashed back into the pond; the blood rinsing off her healthy coat in the process. "So then maybe it's the Idol who's sharing his joy with Mr. Pond!" she mused, as she darted after the sleek shininess of a fish. "I'm happy, since they must be really good friends!" Sun told both her Papa and the invisible audience she seemed to constantly imagine. Diving into the water, she tried to catch the small fish in her mouth only to have it quickly swim off. Disappointed, she trudged back to land, and gave Vilnius a smile. "I wanted to catch Papa a fish, but it had to stay with Mr.Pond," the young fawn admitted.
((Do you think Sun can burn holes into your vision like the actual sun?))
((chocolate milk is good, all
Vilnius chuckled softly, watching the small fawn bound after the shimmering creature.
"I think the pond would miss the fish if I took it" he mused, looking around slowly before shifting a slim leg, splashing water over the fawn he had adopted, his ears tilting back as he laughed softly.
(((Then don't ask me why
"Hey!" Sun cried as she was splashed with water. Shaking her fur, she pouted at her Papa. "This is waaaaar!" the young fawn declared, and jumped into the water directly in front of Vilnius; splashing him in the process.
((I logged off the game since I need to start working on homewark.))

Vilnius backed up, standing quickly, looking around again, making sure they were alone before splashing back, trotting easily through the water, blood seeping into the water as he was splashed, pelt of gleaming gold showing now that the rot and gore had been wet and pushed from his body.
Sun shook water from her head
"Oh, wow! You're pelt is so pretty, Papa! You should bathe more often," she exclaimed as she got a look of his pelt's real color for the first time. Remaining completely oblivious to the blood in the water that was leaving dark rings on her submerged legs.
