You're most welcome! Welp, there is certainly nothing wrong with having "real deer" faces, but human-faced deer can be very interesting. All of mine have human faces so far, but that is just my personal preference. Whatever works for you! c8

Oh yes, Lucas Arts games are always great! Monkey Island was awesome. Hm...I should add Grim Fandango to my wish list on Amazon; I've been trying to hunt down classic Playstation games, so it would be a perfect addition!

Uruushou: Your human faced deer characters are so cute, I adore the way you draw their faces.

eyestrain: Thank you! I love the way you draw “human” faced deer with more stylized, animal-like attributes, they always look so lovely and seem more “natural.” That’s the way I’ve always tried to draw mine as well. When I saw pictures of painted sugar skull faces, I was impressed how well the artist was able to suggest a skull over the human features. I wanted to see how this would look on a deer, fearing the whole time I was drawing it that it would look off.

Spyrre: Thank you so much! I drew and painted the face first, making sure I could pull it off first before I bothered painting the rest of the deer. I have a hard time with human faces, and if it didn’t turn out I was going to scrap the whole idea. Lol!

SnowSauria, you still should! That could be Illrose’s look when she takes her mask off? Human faced DotD mask with skull makeup underneath her deer skull mask. Perfect! I’m certainly not possessive of any one set myself. Usually if I see a deer wearing the same set as my deer I go “Way cool!” and plunk my deer down to get screenies. We could hang.

The crying idol mask is very “humanish” too and has that “painted on” look to it, it was one I thought about using as well because of that. It would look awesome, Snowsauria.
