Uhm, just a quick drawing of Celtis that I've since added to his blog. Gawd, it's been ages since I did any art, but seeing all the nice things others've done of their deer made me want to try. I have NEVER drawn a deer before...And I suck at straight lines. *hides her face from his awful wobbly legs*

It's just flat colors, and the only thing I liked enough to do some better coloring on was his mask. He's such an easy draw, because he's just a forest deer, not anything too fancy beyond my skills...I'm thinking of spicing him up a bit though. Maybe making his mask have a unique design. Any thoughts?

Maybe next time I'll do him, The Creature, and Calliste...

Hmm. His pelt could stand to be redder too...Bah.

I'm all for the idea of his mask having a different design, as well, but I have no ideas. .__.
Maybe you could try some floral patterns.. or Celtic knots?

I think you did pretty well. You did a wonderfull job with the mask and personally I like those flat colors. It's simple but strong.

Celtic knots would actually

Celtic knots would actually fit him very well. Perhaps the mask could have edging in them, like the shape of the mask would flow with the knots... That would be really hard to draw though...Hmm...*rubs her chin*

I really like the pose and

I really like the pose and the overall simplicity of the flat colours and clean lines,

the mask is well drawn too Laughing out loud

oh and I like how you've drawn the antler that curls away from the viewer, it's hard
to get the perspective right of the furthest horn. (:
