Bravery, intelligence, kindness.
Endurance.
It's these qualities that have brought him to where his is now; a giant amoung the giants, yet a soul and heart more golden than the most valued of treasures. He is a diamond in a sea of rocks, brilliant in composure, sharp edges worn away, nonexistent.
He does not look down upon others; rather, he allows himself to be humbled, something that many lack in a world of brute strength, and superiority. Perhaps, it's this alone that has garnered the attention of so many. It doesn't take much for him to be surrounded by both friends and admirers, each one just as caring as the last.
A part of me wonders if perhaps he has grown weary of all. Weary of the attention, weary of the doting, the questions, the desires to meet him.
Crunch, crunch.
Crunch, crunch.
He walks with a gawky elegance, breaking the top of the hill. His hill. Though he hardly guards it with the malice of a dog. Instead, this is where they gather. To play, to sit...
...to know that not everyone will belittle them.
But today, he is by his lonesome. It is a rare thing indeed, seeing the giant on his own.
He stands, overlooking the world around him. The sun peeks through the tree tops, like children in a game of hide and seek. The butterflies dance 'round and 'round, weaving in and out of the flowers like lovers chasing each other through a Paradise.
The birds sing overhead, songs of seasons, of time, of feelings forever lost in the throngs of the Forest.
He sighs deeply, yet it is hardly one of worn out mentality. Instead, it is calm, peaceful, almost as if he's tasting the air for that sweet taste of freedom.
He postures, his ears pressed forward, his eyes alert. He searches, searches. For a symbol, for a name.
If one looks at the correct angle, one can see him standing strong, a single sunbeam smiling down upon him.
It's only fitting for him. Here, now, in this moment...
...he is a king in his world.
Happy Birthday, Dag.
Thank you...for everything.
Sage says Happy Birthday too.
<3!!
That is...
I think I'll need to google some words, my vocabulary doesn't seem to stretch far enough to show my appreciation for this. This is just so... <3
Thank you Azura, really <3
...*fangirls over Sage*
fkskfskfks I'm glad you

fkskfskfks
Oh dear, I better keep Sage under wraps then 8D
Because I told you I would
Though the bumping is for a selfish reason, too. Reading this again has reminded me that Dag is still the same, even though I am not, and I'm going to finish what I started ♥
This is a wonderful piece of writing considering how short it is... I don't remember it being so short, but it says so much in so few words. You really are an excellent writer (:
Lovely. Sharp edges worn
I don't strive to be the best, but instead I strive to do my best, and always give it my all every time.
