spelldata trouble... (Vista users?)

anyone who uses Vista, can you help me out? i cant get my spelldata to work. is it just the shortcuts, or is it something else?

i am using shortcuts. but whenever i transfer the file, and get onto the forest, it doesnt work, and im just a regular deer.

anyone know what to do?

I never had any luck with my Vista and spelldata.. I was in the same boat as you, until Sluggs came up with this AWESOME Spell Saving program. Have you tried it? It works perfectly with my own Vista and I can finally use different saved sets.

I use Vista, but I copy+paste spelldata... What I do is... I create a separate folder (and title them, ex.: "Peacock," or "Magpie") and paste the data in there for future use. When I'm ready to use it again, I copy the data I want (such as "Peacock") and then paste it into the userdata folder.
