IM CONFUSED!!! okay, spell saver is really confusing, i save my data, and it says its saved. but when i try to open it, it says it cant find the file? what is it that im doing wrong?..
please someone tell me how spell saver works?
im kinda new with the spell saver and all that. and i dont know how it works?. can someone help me?... please explain it to me as detailed as possible
and uhm another question,, can you actually get other people's spell data (like, if i want the zombie set, and one of my friends have it, can they send it so i can use it too? or is it only one person who can use the same data? *confused* )

Okies sososo firstly, I have
1. Get your set in the forest whilst logged in. Once you have gotten this, press escape, and click quit. Wait for the TEF window to fully close. Do not minimize the window or this will not work.
2. Go to 'My Computer', or wherever you have installed The Endless Forest. If you have installed it to the default location like I have, go to 'C:' drive, 'Program Files', and then to the folder titled 'Tale Of Tales'. Open this folder, then the following one (which should be 'The Endless Forest 3' if you have the latest version of the game installed), and then click on the folder titled 'User Data'. If you have not installed TEF to the C: drive, search for a file called 'SpellData.cgr' on your computer to help you find where this file is located.
3. This folder should contain two files-'SpellData.cgr' and 'Preferences.cgr'. If you are using Vista or possibly Windows 7, you will have to click a button above these filenames that says 'Compatibility Files' for this to work properly.
4. After doing all of this, right click the 'SpellData.cgr' file. Copy this file, and paste it in a new location somewhere safe where you can access it. Voila, instant saved Spelldata ♥ Next time you want to use the forest, merely copy and paste this saved SpellData file into this userdata folder and overwrite the pre-existing Spelldata that is there. You will have your set in game ♥
I'm so sorry if this is complicated, but I find it so much easier than using Spelldata, just personally~! :3 I hope that this helps!
From this, yes, you can also get other people's spelldata and use it without any problems. Get them to send you their Spelldata file, save it to a safe place, then copy it over to the userdata file, overwriting the spelldata file that is there, to use their Spelldata ♥
