I don't get how to do spell data O.o I've read a different post on this and for some reason it made no sense. Can anyone give me a sort-of step-by-step way to do it? Oh, I use Window's Vista in case it makes any difference.
Also, can anyone give me the skeleton mask and pelt, along with the candles on the antlers? I would love you forever lol
Lol, I'd be willing to do

*useless compliment*
I wish I had a link to
1. Gather the enchantments you want in the Forest.
2. Exit the game (press ESC and select Quit)
3. Go to Computer (or My Computer) -- Local Disk (C) -- Program Files -- Tale of Tales -- EndlessForest -- userdata.
4. The file you want is called spelldata.cgr
5. Copy and paste this file to another location. What I like to do is create a folder on the desktop. For example, if you want to save spelldata with the peacock set, name the folder "Peacock Set" and then copy and paste the spelldata there. You can also change the name of the spelldata. EXAMPLE: spelldata.cgr peacock.cgr. You will just have to change the name back to spelldata.cgr to use it.
6. When you want to use the file, find the folder, copy, go to the original file location (explained in #3), and paste. It will ask you to overwrite the file, select "Yes" to anything that comes up.
Let me know if that works or if I need to explain it in a different way (I think I can be confusing at times). :3
I mostly get it? I think?
Well, the idea is to make a
It's the same process for spelldata received over e-mail. You can create a folder to store it or rename the file (e.g. zombie.cgr). When you're ready to use the file, copy and paste it into the folder (see #3) to replace the current spelldata.cgr file. If you renamed the file, be sure to change it before you copy+paste.
Let me know if I answered your question(s). I'll keep checking back. (:
Okay, I'm almost certain
Yeah, apparently, I didn't
Okay, so, this is what I did:
I copy and pasted the old spell data in a different folder on my desktop. Then I deleted what was in the game's folder. I got the spell data I wanted my friend gave me, then put it into the game's folder. And I log into the game and my deer's appearance hasn't changed D:
I need to stop making a
I'm glad it works! About
About the admin permission - I know there are quite a few players who use Vista (myself included) who have to run the game as administrator. I'm not sure why it's necessary, but at least it makes Vista run the game. xD
