Some CSS help!

Hi!
It's been a while since I've been here ;//u//; sorry!

Uhm! I wanted to ask for some help with a CSS page I've been working on lately.
Have you seen these pages where you get a div box (where all the information is/appears), and a menu on the sides, so that when you hover (not click) over certain section, the information in the box changes?

I hope I'm explaining myself!
Could someone explain me how to do that?

I'm pretty cool with css! I just don't really understand how that works!
Thanks in advance ;u;

not quite! although I've also been looking (for ages) for that code! Thank you very much~

What I'm looking for is something like:
content box (containing, for example, the "about" section)
menu shows "about", "likes", "deslikes", etc.
when one hovers over "likes", the content box changes to "likes"

Hum, really not sure. Maybe
